22.01.2022 Todays the day. Reboot are having our first practice since March. To say that we are excited is a huge understatement. We have missed each other so badly under the isolation guidelines and it is going to be so much fun to catch up with everyone today. To our friends and Reboot Family, thank you for your patience and understanding in the last few months under pretty frightening times, you are all awesome. 22.01.2022 Hey everyone. We hope you are all well . How exciting for our cute little state to be starting to ease even more restrictions in the wake of our Covid19 outbreak. This means that we are all another few steps closer to the day when we can get out and see some live bands..... meaning that Reboot can finally get out amongst it and make some music and have a great time. Before the outbreak, we were just starting to fill bookings, all of which were cancelled... which couldnt ha...ve been worse timing for us. But, we wont let that beat us. We are currently in the process of approaching venues with the view to making some bookings as soon as we are able to. Stay tuned for more details as they present. We hope to see you at a gig really soon . A huge thanks to each and every one of our supporters and followers.....it really means a lot, and we love you all for it Take care, and we will see you soon. 20.01.2022 Yay. 101 likes for our little band with a big sound. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Scott, Sharon, Tommy and I want you all to now that your support and encouragement means the world to us all. Sharon and I started this adventure about a year ago when we first started collecting sound gear to add to our guitar collection, although there have been a few hiccups and hurdles along the way, it has been a challenge that we are pleased to say we have enjoyed immensely. So, for a band that we started from the ground up, with some changes in lineup and some stressful times, we are still loving it. Much love to you all. We are Reboot. And we are here to stay. 20.01.2022 Hey everyone. We all hope that you are all well and staying home unless it is absolutely essential that you go out. We are really looking forward to the time that Reboot can get together and have some fun doing what we love. Stopping the spread of this dreaded virus will mean that will happen sooner rather than later.... and that means the limit of contact with anyone outside your home is vital. That being said, we all feel a bit cabin crazy. We are band mates, but more impo...rtantly, we are best friends. We havent seen each other in what seems like the longest time, and that is a big deal to us all. We miss each other like mad, but trying to make the best of the current situation. Please take care. 19.01.2022 Hey Reboot Family. Thanks for the new likers.....we wont bombard you with posts Without dwelling on current events, we hope that each one of you are safe and well. We are all fine. Our great friend and awesome drummer tommy Hyland and his gorgeous partner Catherine Fitzgerald are almost a week into a precautionary, mandatory and very compassionate quarantine period. We are very proud of them for their positive approach to this very necessary procedure. Much love and respec...t to you both. Apart from that and being vigilant with social distance, hand hygiene and sensible necessary only travel, everything else is pretty good with us all. We are being positive and keeping our humour as silly as ever. Thats what we do . As most of you know, I (Tom) drive a truck for a living, and the company I work for is in the early stages of our peak work period. As a result, music hasnt been high on the agenda for me lately. But we are still working on ideas for improving our stage and lighting (and copious amounts of smoke) show and extending our setlists. Scott has been a very busy boy in his spare time , recording some tracks to introduce the band. We are excited to see what he has put together. Sharon and I both miss you guys like crazy. Sharon is getting more excited about the progress of our little bun in the oven.18 weeks in and for the most part, a reasonably straightforward pregnancy. A few extraordinary hiccups, but thankfully, nothing too serious. Typically Sharon fashion......why be normal? I am so looking forward to being a daddy again. Who would have thunk it? 18.01.2022 Hey Reboot Family. We hope that you are all staying well. Scott and Tom (me) are collaborating on some recording. Its a lot of fun, but it will never replace the feeling of playing live in front of real people. At this stage we dont have any real plans for our recordings.... but we have an open mind. Our mate Tommy is still banging drums a couple of nights a week with his live stream shows on Facebook and YouTube. Go and check him out on Tuesday and Thursday nights around ...7. Sharon and I are getting more excited by the day for the arrival of our newest family member in August. She has a lovely bump growing nicely . We are all missing playing together, but with restrictions easing, we are getting ready to make some serious noise and having even more serious fun. Stay safe. See you all as soon as we are able to.

17.01.2022 Time to introduce our last member of the band, drum roll Tommy... Mr Tom Jones! Tom has been doing music for a long time locally and across the waters at time in WA, in duos and bands but mostly country and he excels at it in every way, but has always wanted the opportunity to do rock! Toms had a lot of influence from family members, first performing with his uncle and hasnt looked back since, he has been quite successful in his duo with his first wife winning a country aw...ard and trip to Tamworth. Tom is our one and only guitarist and also our second lead singer, and can throw a harmony over like you have never known! He is very talkative and loves nothing more than a good convo and being silly, he is an awesome father and very proud of his childrens talents. He is one of our founding members and partner to myself (Sharon) and sure sometimes to Scott too everybody a round of applause for Tom! See more
15.01.2022 Hey Reboot Family. We hope you are all staying well and coping ok with the restrictions that we are all adhering to. In the next few weeks/months we can all expect some more necessary changes to benefit each and every one of us. So please hang in there and make the most of this situation that we are all in. Reboot are getting ready for the day in the not too distant future that we can all finally get back to what we love.... LOUDLY. We have all been working on our own develo...pment as individuals, while keeping in mind what our core is......and that is that we all have each others enjoyment at the front of our minds. 12.01.2022 WOW!WOW! WOW!!!What a wonderful day of live music today at NWMC Band Together Bushfire Relief, held at Buttons Brewing in Ulverstone. We had an absolute blast playing to some couple of hundred enthusiastic and generous music fans....and many very talented musicians. What an amazing event that undoubtedly raised an equally amazing amount of money for those that need it most. Thank you everyone for your love, support and the atmosphere you bring to our gigs. Lots of fun . Reboot have something to say......and it will ALWAYS be loud.

11.01.2022 Its raining....so, while Im not at work, what better way to spend some time than introducing our band members, starting with the driving force behind the Reboot story, our amazing lead vocalist, the incomparable Miss Sharon Poke. Sharon had performed in stage productions at high school in Queenstown for their Rock Eisteddfod entry, reaching the Australian finals. Sharon has always been supremely passionate about music, but had never been encouraged to chase her dream of bei...ng part of a rock band until a couple of years ago. Playing guitar and singing to her four children has been a big part of family life, along with reading crime thriller novels, with Sharons favourite writers being the late Mary Higgins-Clark and Harlen Coben. Her passion for reading also passed to her children, with bedtime stories still a big part of the family routine. Sharon approached some local musicians in May last year to see if they were interested in getting together to jam initially, with a view to maybe starting a new band project, to which they agreed. And a few weeks later, Reboot The Band was germinated. Sharon is a mother to four gorgeous kids and three equally gorgeous step children, who are extremely proud of their Mum....all of which are very creative in their own right. She is a strong and resilient woman, who has encountered and overcome many challenges and puts that tenacity into every performance. Sharon is a rock chick in the truest sense, rocking it with the rest of the band proudly sporting a cute little baby bump that will join Reboot in August. And we at Band Camp HQ can hardly contain our excitement. Ladys and Gentlemen, friends of Reboot The Band, it gives me enormous pleasure to introduce to you the one, the only..... (drumroll please Tommy) Miss Sharon Poke.
09.01.2022 Well, its almost a week since our last post. So without further ado, please let me introduce the 2nd of our band members.....none other than everybodys favourite bass player the Incredible Mr Scott Wells. Scott has always been surrounded by music, with his family being a local band when Scott was just a lad. He studied music all throughout his school life, and reads music to several different instruments including his passion on drums. Scott is also interested in space, anc...ient history, and how much it all intertwines. Being a pretty intelligent guy, makes Scott a very interesting and fun person to spend time with. Scott is a devoted dad and partner who is always ready to laugh.....even (especially) at his own expense AND his own jokes. He loves a good meme....the daddest memes ever.....and poo jokes are his thing.......so are toilet selfies .....and we wouldnt want him to be any different. We all love him just the way he is thanks. It gives me enormous pleasure to introduce you to My Brother From Another Mother.....(again please Tommy).......Mr Scott Wells.

06.01.2022 New second hand sound gear picked up last night. Beringer rack mountable effects units, noise gates, eqs and power supply for the matching 32 channel mixing desk. More speakers replacement parts for our existing front of house bins and a new power amp to run all of this insane sound will be here next week. Reboot will never pretend to be anything.... and we will certainly never need to pretend to be loud .
06.01.2022 Hello Reboot Family. From all of us here at Band Camp, have a safe, healthy and Happy Easter. We have been really quiet for what seems like a lifetime and, trust us when we say that we dont like it one little bit.... but for the good of everyone in the world as we know it, we all need to be really sensible AND sensitive. We all want the same outcome from this trying time, and that is to be able to return our everyday lives back to some level of normality. So to while away t...he time, we have all been busy gathering equipment, rehearsing, learning new material and skills. Currently Scott is busy with his recording projects and Sharon and I have just acquired a digital interface and well be able to add our parts to Scotts, and see what we can achieve. Thats if I (Tom) can manage some spare time. Our good mate Tommy and sit in drummer has been out of isolation for almost a week, and Im sure he has been enjoying freedom in whatever way he has been able. On a more compassionate note, we all WILL get through Covid19 and everything it has brought into our lives. I along with the rest of our Reboot engine room, want to wish everyone happiness and joy for this Easter. Stay healthy. Stay home. Stay safe. And last but not least, stay strong. Love

03.01.2022 Hey everyone. We hope you are all doing great. Things have been a little on the quiet side here at band camp.... babies will do that. Little Isaac is going famously too by the way.... getting cuter by the minute . We are, however, in the process of improving our sound gear even further, and Scott and I (Tom) are playing around with some old guitars that we have, to add to our stage equipment. We're both pretty excited to see how they both turn out. Mine is an old Telecaster... type guitar that will get some more modern pickups and a new paint job. Pics will be posted when it is complete. In the meantime, stay safe, stay strong. We look forward to getting out and show you all what we can do again when the time is right.

03.01.2022 Time to introduce another of our" members". This man is one of the nicest people that you will ever meet. He is super talented and very creative, with an amazing musical history, playing with artists and bands all over the world. Ladies and gentlemen, it is an extreme honour to introduce our friend and sit in drummer, the one, the only, (drumroll please Mr Wells)..... Mr Tommy Hyland.... Tommy and Scott have known each other since they were teenagers. During that time,they have both shared a passion for hitting things with sticks..... REALLY HARD. Tommy is a drum tutor, and teaches students of all ages. His home studio is a big part of what makes him tick.... filled with drums, sound equipment and music memorabilia. Both Tommy and his partner Catherine Fitzgerald are supremely down to earth with amazing values and morals. Scott, Sharon and myself consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have Tommy as a wonderful mate. It humbled us all when Tommy offered to play some bookings that we had to fullfill after our previous drummer left. For that we are eternally grateful. One added benefit of having Tommy join in with us, is that we also get to enjoy the company of his idol...... Animal. Animal has been everywhere all around this wonderful world, and no doubt had some amazing experiences with his sidekick Tommy. 02.01.2022 Everyone loves a guitar right? Heres my go to group. Pictured left to right is Sharon Pokes 2010ish Epiphone Les Paul Custom Black Beauty. Gorgeous instrument, although heavy, and beautiful to play. Im pleased that I was able to find it for her to replace one she sold some years ago. Next is my pride and joy. American Fender Pro Series Stratocaster. This one is a 2017 model, first purchased new in 2018. I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time and... it was the right price. Words cannot express how proud I am to have finally been able to add this guitar to my family. Absolutely gorgeous guitar. The moment I picked it up I fell in love with it without even playing a note. And made a friend into the bargain. Thanks Nathan Stewart. Next in line is my work horse. Early 2000s Chinese made Charvel DS1 Desolation. I bought this as a reward for.... well, reasons. These things are apparently quite rare, being only made in China for about a year. The photo does no justice to the paint colours in this guitar. The deepest, darkest metallic blue with green, silver, gold, pink pearls through it. Noiseless zebra Seymour Duncan pickups and faultless electronics make it a hard decision not to play this in the band, but I think I might have to find another hack being that this is only going to get more valuable. Last but not least is our Bolero Les Paul Custom copy..... affectionately known as Roxy. We bought Roxy a couple of years ago in a pawn shop in Launceston. Not the best of guitars to play, but she certainly makes up for it with mojo. Built pre 1969, in Japan by who is now known as Ibanez. The badge nameplate on the headstock is fixed on with copper tacks.....they stopped doing that in March 1969..... making her older than me. A lot of people probably dont understand why musicians love their instruments, and I really dont know either. I just do. Theyre my little triumphs in life. And theyre all beautiful. 01.01.2022 Hows everyone going. The cold weather is here, so what better way to stay warm than getting stuck in to our music space to make it more practical. Our new stage sound gear, although a bit of a work in progress, is coming together very nicely. A few more hours today and we should be able to have a run through our new system and give it the Reboot test. Huge thanks to Scott Wells. For his research, input and hard work in getting us to where we are. Stay tuned..... videos will ...be up as soon as we get everything dialled in. In the meantime, stay warm. Stay home. Stay healthy. Scott has been busy collecting lighting gear and smoke machine to add to our stage show and give our friends and family and all our followers a true rock show.
