25.01.2022 Do you sit in confusion for the longest time - like, know a decision needs to be made but keep putting it off. I mean why are we afraid to make the call. Are we scared it will be the wrong one? All our decisions are made from the best intentions - some decisions work out for us and others - well we just have to take away the lesson learned. I am certainly guilty of this, so the new rule I have, if it can dealt with in a few minutes then do that. Touch it once, decide and... file. Next.

24.01.2022 Its easy to say some people are lucky and have everything or had things handed to them on a plate. Yep, and perhaps thats true, but we cant change that, and there is no point dwelling on it, sitting around feeling sorry for yourself will not get you the life you want. Change your mindset, become open to change and watch good shit happen!
24.01.2022 The reason why we dont change and turn into a better version of ourselves is because we dont want to do the hard things. Getting out there and accomplishing things is a big thrill, but the price you pay is discomfort. Look forward to the discomfort because when you get to the other side of your achievement you will look back and probably say I should have done it sooner. So what are you waiting for - go get it
23.01.2022 One of my favourites, the kettlebell swing. Sometimes I also like to get low and add a KB squat swing . Looks like Im in deep concentration here - just like what I want for my future. Have you thought on clarity for your future? Practise being decisive and not staying in I dont know. The clearer you are in your direction, goals and purpose, the more productive youll be. Are you like Oprah - at every meeting she asks what the purpose and objective of the meeting is. We all want this type of clarity and focus right, as it increases our productivity. @eugenbynature
23.01.2022 Imagine if we could see the goal before it was accomplished. Instead of hoping, really truly believing and taking action. This is how we achieve them! Identify a goal develop action plan identify the potential obstacles implement plan... modify plan (if needed) elvaluate what worked and did not work If you dont know how to set goals, give this basic example a go and see how you get on.
22.01.2022 This Christmas I did something different. I decided to spend Christmas on an island in Thailand at a fitness bootcamp. I decided I did not want to overindulge in food or alcohol during the festive times. But I didn't need to go to that extreme, right? No, that was just a bonus, the main reason was to continue my fitness journey and to push myself out of my comfort zone. Well I tell you what - it certainly did. Every morning training from 7am total body circuit, 9.15am ...yoga, 10:15 Cross Training. We took a lunch break and had a few hours to ourselves then back for a 4pm class of either Muay Thai or strength and conditioning followed by an 7pm class of tabata or metcon madness. Rest day was Sunday and half a day on Saturdays. My stay lasted 14 days. What I wanted to say here is that I am so glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone. I proved to me, that I can do hard things. I didn't quit, I didn't fake being sick or tired when my body was aching. I got up every day and pushed on. The feeling of accomplishment when done was worth it. I created some new neuro pathways when my brain was telling me to rest or take a day off. I thought, nope I am all in, I am doing what I came for. I was honouring my commitment to myself. What are you going to change this year to be closer to or accomplish your goals? 20.01.2022 Do you know we think something like 64,000 things in any given daycrazy hey! That means that thinking is a largely unconscious process. Thinking is automatic, it happens without us putting in any effort or really doing anything at all. This doesnt mean, however, that thoughts are out of our control or that we are a slave to the things we think. We have the ability to understand where those thoughts come from and to challenge them in order to create positive changes in our behavior.

19.01.2022 Holiday cheer is right around the corner, are you really doing what you want to do, or is it out of obligation? Are you doing stuff to please others, to keep them happy - How is that working out for you?
18.01.2022 It is very hard to bypass the conversation and news that is happening around the world . When working with a client, she felt a whole lot of fear and anxiety about what the media says and what her employers have said about distancing from colleagues and friends and how she should behave at home, putting restrictions on visiting friends etc. She was freaking out really. What I offered to her was, yes that is the circumstance of the situation, the virus, its spreading and t...here is no cure or vaccine as yet. This part cannot be changed right now. However the way we think about it, can be. Here are a few tips that may be useful. Limit yourself to watching the media, maybe choose an amount of time of 1 hour per day. Don't worry you won't miss out on the latest updates, no doubt you will hear from it from somebody. Yet, stay informed and learn what you need to do your part to help medical professionals do their job. If you are experiencing worry, fear or anxiety and currently spend most of your time there, practise this. 'worry time' - choose a time of the day that you will spend worrying. One hour a day, worrying about all the things that could happen and have not yet happened, all the feelings for your family, loved ones, the sick and the dying etc. Once your time is up, go about your day. If you have more of these emotions come up, say to yourself that you will save it for 'worry time'. If you have to go out and purchase groceries or other items, make a plan and then go get it done. You may be thinking to reassess life insurances, health insurances and Wills etc. You don't need to create a story about it just make the purchase and go about your day. Be intentional with your thoughts, worrying adds so much suffering ahead of time. Worrying will not change the result. All that extra worry will add emotional pain. Limit the conversations that will compound that worry. Just know that right now you are safe, you are ok and you can handle todays problems. Kina and I practising social distancing ;-)
16.01.2022 You are going to encounter problems, things are not going to go your way. This doesnt mean something has gone wrong. It means you are a human being. And it is up to you how you show up for these things.... You cant decide what happens to you unfortunately, but you can decide how you will respond, what you think and what you will take from the experience. This will determine the person you want to be in the game of life. You get to choose!

14.01.2022 Dont try to be happy all the time. Its a terrible idea. Being happy when people die unexpectedly? Being happy when we get hurt physically? Being happy when theres war?... When a plane crashes? When your team loses? No. The goal is not to be happy all the time. Theres nothing wrong with you if youre not happy all the time. Youre awesome. Youre a human in the world. 12.01.2022 We are very much on time we dont need to compare ourselves to others. We are all running our own race, in our own time. I decided at this age that I wanted to go to university - not in my 20s nor my 30s, but my late 40s. And you know what - thats ok You are doing just fine!
11.01.2022 We have thousands of thoughts a day, lets be careful about the ones we want to believe. If the story you are telling yourself is holding you back, create a new story. Its ok to change your thoughts, dont be a slave to something that is not serving you.
11.01.2022 Its very simple to get what you want...but its not easy. You have to be able to parent yourself. As teens, we think our parents are a pain in the arse, right? always telling us what to do, "do your homework, tidy your room, get out of the fridge, go to bed, get up" Fast forward to us being adults - now who gets to parent us? We do, we have to parent ourselves! It means that we need to now do the things we don't want to do, to make our dreams come true. We will now need ...to push ourselves and parent ourselves because no one is coming. No one is coming to push us, to tell us to exercise, to pay the bills, to get out of a toxic relationship, to slow down or to pick up the pace. We just aren't wired like that, we always only want to do the things that we feel comfortable doing. And if we don't push through this comfort zone, then the fact is, we will not make our dreams come true. When we accept the fact that we will always need to give ourselves a push and parent us, then and only then we will get what we set out to achieve. See more
10.01.2022 Lets just stop for a moment, breathe and check what we are doing. What are we doing day in and day out. Is it getting us closer to our goals? Are we spending time or giving our power over to others or things that deflate us? Remember we have limited time here, it only takes a thought to change an action to then start to change direction. Its never too late, we are never too old to make some changes! I watched a show where a lady took up bodybuilding at 59. She is now 400 trophies in and still competing at 72 years young.

01.01.2022 I hope everyone has had an awesome weekend. The weather has been super here in Perth. Here is something I do on a weekly basis, every Sunday actually. I plan my week ahead. It is a great idea to plan the work, your week or your month. But you also need to work that plan you have created. Doing so and honouring youre commitment will get you closer to where you want to be in the future.
