22.01.2022 These are called Cavaletti poles, perhaps familiar to the horse-loving people among us They are a simple way of improving our patients coordination, muscle strength and balance. A vital everyday activity as we re-teach the body to recognise that if there is an obstacle in the way, we have to lift our feet over it, so we dont trip.

17.01.2022 Happy New Year from us at Rebound! Here are some tips from us to make 2020 a good one for you and your furry friend

16.01.2022 Meet Macarena, the newest member of our rehab team! Hailing from Madrid in Spain, Macarena worked as a small animal veterinarian before moving to Australia with her partner Julio. Macarena completed an internship in rehab whilst at university and hoped that one day she would be able to work in this field full time. She has continued her studies in canine rehab, acupuncture and chronic pain management since arriving in Australia.... We are very fortunate to have had Macarena join our Rebound Pet Rehab and Bulimba Vet family. Bienvenida Macarena!

01.01.2022 COVID-19 CLIENT INFORMATION With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic creating much concern within our community, our team are keeping up to date with the latest recommendations as the situation evolves. As veterinary professionals, infection control is a routine part of our day and we already have thorough hygiene practices in place onto which we have added extra measures to minimize risk to our client, their pets and our team.... This includes: -Performing regular clinic-wide cleaning with virus-killing agents to remove particles from waiting rooms, door handles, tables etc -Making liquid alcohol based hand-sanitiser available in reception and our rehab treatment room for staff and client use. To comply with social distancing recommendations we ask that our clients: -Limit the number of people presenting your pet to the clinic to just ONE owner (where possible). With new advice and directives being released by the Australian Government (health.gov.au) and Australian Veterinary Association regularly, we will keep you up to date as to whether any of our services will be affected. If you have an appointment for your pet with Rebound Pet Rehab and: - You have been overseas in the past 14 days, or - You are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or - Are in the process of self-isolating Please do not present yourself to the clinic in any of the above situations. Please call the clinic for advice so we can make a plan in line with social distancing recommendations.
