18.01.2022 Hey everyone, we have recently found out that my Brookes jetty proposal for Pick My Project is ineligible. Unfortunately, the prize money must see through to the completion of the project; which is impossible for a jetty. However, I’m very pleased with the exposure Brookes Jetty has received through entering Pick My Project, and hope you will continue to help me and the St.Kilda community to spread awareness of its necessity. 11.01.2022 The jetty extends into deep waters, will it will be safer for all sorts of activities. Its narrowness reminds us of the original Brookes Jetty, intimate and unique. #rebuildbrookesjetty

The Bring Back Brooke’s Jetty community group have been working hard the past few months and we have some updates: Below is a design idea for the concrete storm water drain that will be rebuilt soon. This design offers seating on top of the drain, and also provides shade; something St Kilda beach lacks. (This is no longer a part of the Pick My Project competition.
