28.04.2022 Just in case any of you happen to be free on the evening of the 30th, I'll be getting grilled!

28.03.2022 One of our committee members Andy Moore was part of the team that conducted this national survey - the first of its kind looking at recreational fishing for Southern Bluefin Tuna across its range in Australia. For the first time, we can put some numbers to the recreational catch of SBT, which has huge implications for the way stocks of this very special fish will be managed into the future.

02.03.2022 Participate in the survey now, and go in the draw for some very generous prizes!

18.02.2022 A sobering fact. Ozfish Unlimited's work is tremendously valuable and necessary.

04.02.2022 Adam Martin showcasing the new Tacklebox app. Record what you caught, find out how your catch stacks up against existing records, and see what scientific studies have been conducted on the species you caught. The app will even instantly ID and measure your catch for you - all you have to do is take a photo with your phone.

13.01.2022 The White Spot prawn virus is a lesson for us all. Please DO NOT use imported prawns intended for human consumption as bait. The White Spot prawn virus has unfortunately appeared in SE Queensland again. Diseases such as White Spot have the potential to devastate industries and ecosystems here in Australia. Once these diseases get out into the environment, there's not much that can be done to eradicate them. https://www.abc.net.au//white-spot-found-in-two-q/12167696

07.01.2022 Introducing Dave Donald - one of the presenters at the National Recreational Fishing Conference. Science is not just for people with lots of letters behind their names - it's a way to structure the way we observe things, and make sense of what is happening.
