23.01.2022 Check out this beautiful big Hitachi HiFi receiver we have at the Reclaimed Audio outlet at the Camp Hill Antique Centre. With only one owner since new in '79 (it even still has its original paperwork!) it restored up a treat, right down to the real veneer enclosure. The SR-530 delivers a minimum of 20 watts rms per channel into 8, and up to 30 watts per channel into 4. Two switchable speaker zones are available. The performance from both AM and FM stereo sections of the t...uner is outstanding, and tuning is performed by a weighted knob and large backlit slide rule display with a signal strength meter to assist. It has a high performance phono input for turntables, and a line level (aux) input for any modern device. Additionally the unit has two tape in/out loops (including dubbing setting) which of course could also be used for aux devices. Great value at $419 - www.reclaimedaudio.com.au #reclaimedaudio #reclaimedaudioandelectronics #vintagehifi #madeinjapan #hitachi #restoredwithwarranty #amfm #receiver #phonoinput #1979 #vintagesound

18.01.2022 This mid 80s HiFi Amplifier from Technics doesn’t pull punches it readily delivers 80 watts rms per channel into 8 loads, or 100W rms into 4 (with the ability to cover higher peaks), giving your music miles of headroom. It uses Technics New Class A topology (basically AB with higher bias), and has an excellent quality to its sound. If you're looking for HiFi with a bit of grunt this unit has been fully restored, with a warranty, and available from www.reclaimedaudio.com.au #reclaimedaudio #reclaimedaudioandelectronics #vintagehifi #technics #matsushita #madeinjapan #restoredwithwarranty #newclassA

17.01.2022 What beautiful gear JVC used to make. Like this 1982 A-X40, a 2 x 50W amplifier beautifully executed, and feature packed. Super-A refers to JVC design topology that extracts class A type performance from class A-B design. It has an inbuilt 5 band graphic equaliser and a vacuum fluorescent power output display. Restored with warranty, and available now at www.reclaimedaudio.com.au #reclaimedaudio #reclaimedaudioandelectronics #vintageaudio #phonoinput #restoredwithwarranty #JVC #outputmeters #graphicequaliser #madeinjapan #shipaustraliawide #vintagehifi

09.01.2022 The KX-230 from Yamaha’s 1989 Natural Sound range is an excellent performer if you’re looking for a high quality cassette deck to add to your system this restored example would be an excellent choice. The KX-230 is a 2 motor 2 head design (using high quality permalloy head) with soft touch logic control. https://reclaimedaudio.com.au//fully-featured-yamaha-kx-23

07.01.2022 This one sold before we had a chance to show you here (sorry), but it was too nice not to post...We recently restored this 1973 (!) Sony professional cassette recorder that was aimed at the media market. Dual flywheel, full auto stop, over shoulder case, record level meter... what a joy! #reclaimedaudio #reclaimedaudioandelectronics #vintageaudio #sony #cassette #madeinjapan #restoredwithwarranty #compactcassette #fieldrecorder #newsgathering

07.01.2022 There's something oddly comforting about the simplicity of this National (Panasonic) RX1220 Radio Cassette Player from 1984. Fully restored, and ready to once again bring musical joy for years to come! You can see it at the Reclaimed Audio outlet at the Camp Hill Antique Centre, or online at www.reclaimedaudio.com.au #reclaimedaudio #reclaimedaudioandelectronics #vintagesound #matsushita #national #restoredwithwarranty #amfm #boombox #radiocassette #vintagesound #cassetteplayer #compactcassette

04.01.2022 We're looking to hire for a production a working late 70s / early 80s CRT large colour TV... does not have to be a NordMende as pictured... if anyone has something please send us a PM.

03.01.2022 We can't get enough of these early 60s G10 Radiogram / Record Players, valve (tube) technology from Australia's Astor... seems you can't either, because every time we finish restoring one someone buys it! For now at least, we have this one available at the Reclaimed Audio space at the Camp Hill Antique Centre, or online at www.reclaimedaudio.com.au

02.01.2022 Hell hath no fury like a radiogram scorned...

01.01.2022 We’ve no idea how this made its way to Australia but we’re glad it did, because it’s a whole lot of cool! Made in California in 1970 it’s an Audiotronics school / college / government institution record player. We’ve now modified it so that it’s suitable for operating on Australian voltage and mains frequency, and it works as new. It has an inbuilt dual cone speaker, and also has an output that was used to drive headphone listening stations back in the day. You can see it at the Reclaimed Audio space at the Camp Hill Antique Centre, or purchase online at www.reclaimedaudio.com.au
