24.01.2022 A post on the road...! SUICIDE SURVIVOR REMEMBRANCE POSTPONED until tomorrow- Sunday. We are travelling home to The Sanctuary after spending the MOST wonderful day with our sister funeral home Barefoot Funerals of Bellingen. ... We shared a stategising day, we discussed how we could combine our efforts yet again to serve our communities in ever deepening ways. So many ideas, so much information exchange. We want you to know we have your backs, we are listening to your needs, and we will continue to give more of our time and skills without cost to our communities. Our lovely Mayor Robert Mustow and First Lady Narelle will be amongst the glitterati of guests at our very first HIGH TEA in historic Brandon Hall. We have decided to hold our first Tea for our Elders, those people who have worked a lifetime for the progress and wellbeing of our little village community.... The HONOUR ROLE for today only (there are many more Elders that we will be honouring...) includes: Billy Williams, Shirley Parr, Tubby Daley, Glenda Scurr, Margaret Williams, Claire Hetherington, Graham and Marie Smith, and definitely not least Lyle and June Martin. THANK YOU for your tireless contribution to our beautiful, amazing little township, we love you ALL

11.01.2022 Sharing the heart at the centre of it all.. See if you can spy the blood red bloom at the centre of the casket spray for Anthony who was laid to rest amidst much love this week. Hannah, from our Little Flower Farm created a beautiful display to honour the life of Anthony, and quietly included the most vibrant and vital red centre flower, symbolic of Anthony's enduring heart. ... The realisation that Anthony was right there, was an evocative moment in time. Here was his heart, surrounded by all the fragile beauty in the world, within a galaxy of grandeur. A reminder that love never dies, and humans return to the stars. Anthony"s mama, we hope you are also enjoying the symbolism of your blooms xx
