04.01.2022 Today marks 24 years since the Blackhawk tragedy in Townsville. On the 12th of June, 1996 during a Night-time Counter Terrorism Training for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, we lost 18 of Australia’s Finest Warriors. 15 Warriors from the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) and 3 from the 5th Aviation Regiment. Please take a moment today to remember their sacrifice especially considering the nature of the job they were training for at the time. 04.01.2022 Isolation has been a really good opportunity to focus on things that I find important to myself as a person and especially as a Veteran. I have been an official ambassador of @reorgjiujitsu for 4 1/2 years and a supporter of @wedefyfoundation almost as long.
