20.01.2022 There once was a woman who lived next door to a farm that had one single Sheep. Every morning she would wake to look out her small window to see the sheep grazing and playing in the field. Until one day she noticed something strange. She looked intently at the Sheep through her window and noticed that the Sheep was beginning to become a sickly yellow colour. She wondered if she should just mind her own business, but then said to herself Ill just wait another week to s...ee if the Sheeps appearance improves." The following week, she noticed that the Sheep was becoming a peculiar darker shade of yellow. She was convinced that the innocent Sheep was being neglected. She also realised that she hadnt seen the Farmer in the field with the Sheep at all in about 3 months. So, the woman immediately called the department of Animal Welfare as she was very concerned that the Sheep was sick and she became extremely angry at the Farmer! How could he! How dare he mistreat such a beautiful innocent animal! This neglect was terrible, and Sheep should be better taken care of. On top of that, she had not seen the Farmer for a long time. The next morning she woke as usual, looked out her small window and saw the farmer in the field standing beside the sheep talking to what looked like a Government Welfare Inspector. To her relief, finally, something was being done to stop this terrible Farmer who was obviously neglecting his poor Sheep. Not long after, she heard a knock at the door to find that the Animal Welfare Inspector was waiting to ask her some questions. The woman happily obliged and invited the Animal welfare worker in. After offering the worker a cup of tea, she sat down with him and asked what sort of punishment her neighbour Farmer would be receiving. The Welfare Worker said, He will not be receiving any punishment. Puzzled and a little disturbed, the woman asked Why not? The worker said The Sheep is not and has not been losing its white colour at all. The woman said, "Thats impossible, for the past 3 months, Ive watched that Sheep get dingier and dingier every week! The Animal Welfare Worker said When was the last time you went out of your house to meet the Farmer at his house?" The Woman said, About 3 months ago." I see said the government worker. He continued on to ask, No offence maam, but when was the last time you cleaned your window? The woman said, About 3 months ago. The moral of the story is this: Make sure the glass you look through is clean before you pass judgement on others.
