Today is our first day using our new Mindbody software for Pilates. We are excited for this change to make managing your Pilates bookings easier. Make sure you download the mindbody app or follow the booking link on our website. We thank you for your patience while we transition. Make sure if you’re having any technical issues contact us 0491 715 640 OR email us [email protected] . Pricing update From 1st of July 2021 we have some price changes to our services as follows. Studio Group Pilates (no packs) $30 per class Initial Pilates Private with Instructor (1 hour) $80 Pilates Private with Instructor (45 mins) $70 Osteopathy Initial $110 (1 hour) Osteopathy Standard $90 (40 mins) . Booking and Cancellation Policy Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well. Out of respect for our practitioners and our other clients, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours-notice if you need to cancel an appointment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. As of 1st of July 2021 a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged for missed appointments, or for appointments that have been cancelled with less than 24 hours-notice. Please note Cancellation fees are not subject to any rebate from Medicare, private health fund, DVA and Work-Cover. 21.01.2022 A little bit about me... Im a born and bred Gippslander, recently returning to our beautiful region after 8 years away. Spending time in Melbourne, Northern NSW and Gold Coast QLD. Originally from Maffra area growing up on a dairy farm in Riverslea. Spending many summer school holidays on the gorgeous Gippsland lakes, Im glad to now call Paynesville my home. I completed secondary school at Gippsland Grammar where I discovered my interest in health and science as well as i...njury rehabilitation through my own sport related injuries. After secondary school I moved to Melbourne, studying one year of exercise and sports science at Victoria University and completing a Certificate IV in Sports Massage at MIMT. A country girl at heart and eager to continue studies in healthcare I decided to move to Northern NSW to study Osteopathy, where I spent the next 5 years studying a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Masters of Osteopathic Medicine. I graduated in 2017 and was awarded Osteopathy Australia Graduate of the year. After completing my degree I spent two years practicing Osteopathy in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, as well as completing Polestar Pilates studio and rehabilitation certificate. I have spent a lot of my spare time doing courses and seminars to grow as an individual and an osteopath to best help my patients. I have completed further studies in strength and conditioning with ASCA level 1 coaching, as well as various courses and seminars in areas of dry needling, pain science, womens health, pregnancy care and sports injury management. Im passionate about living a healthy and active lifestyle. Sport and exercise have always been an important part of my life, being involved in many activities including running, swimming, cycling, triathlon, athletics, netball, basketball, football, tennis, yoga and Pilates. I enjoy learning new skills and keeping up to date with the latest research. I look forward to helping you on your journey to a healthier and more active life.

Almost every day in the clinic, I meet someone who is concerned about a noise that their body is making. The knee is one of the most common areas of concern as the joint behind our kneecap (patellofemoral joint) commonly makes popping and clicking noises. It is extremely important that people understand that noises from the knee are usually not associated with pathology and may actually be a sign of a healthy, well-lubricated joint. lets be careful not to make people feel bad about their knee noise as it can negatively influence how they view their body! So, if your knees are noisy and you dont have pain, dont worry about them. The noise is most likely due to the movement of fluid behind the kneecap and is not an indicator of a developing joint problem. Reference: Robertson CJ, et al. She is a highly skilled and experienced Pilates instructor with over 10 years in the industry. INTRODUCING SARAH Hi, Im Sarah. ... I have recently moved to the beautiful town of Paynesville with my dog (Bandit) and horse (Tess) where I have spent many holidays with family over the years. Prior to this I lived in South Gippsland where I had my own pilates studio and worked for the YMCA taking pilates and fitness classes at local halls. I am passionate about health and wellness. I am committed to supporting others to live a pain free and healthy lifestyle. I studied my personal training, massage and nutrition certificates in 2009 in Brighton Victoria. I then continued my studies in QLD on the Sunshine Coast where I completed my double degree; Bachelor of arts/Bachelor of science (Psychology and Exercise Science) as well as finding my love for Pilates. I have been practicing and teaching Pilates since 2013 and I feel that everyone can benefit from the practice of Pilates. I enjoy the general health and fitness benefits of Pilates and personal training. I have also had many life and work experiences with injuries, illness and rehabilitation. I have personal experience in dealing with mental and physical illness. I enjoy horse riding, basketball, netball, football, sailing, running, mountain climbing, motocross and more.
