25.01.2022 WE'RE BACK! It's been a long, long time between drinks but we are BACK! It's been a tough few years for me behind the scenes while I navigated the judicial system and now that it's finally come to a conclusion, I can be here with you in solidarity once more. There's so much to share, so much to say and catch up on. ... Right now though, I'd like to ask you - do you want the podcast back? Is it something you're keen for? I have some ideas, and I value your input too. #podcast #traumarecovery #traumahealing #guesswhoseback
24.01.2022 Update: We’re Going to Parliament!
22.01.2022 Because NO WOMAN should have to ask permission from the man who RAPED her to use her voice! Like Audre Lorde says, "I am not free while ANY woman is unfree, eve...n when her shackles are very different from my own". So here I am giving HER story my voice. Please share, like, comment below and help us spread the message that we will not stand for the silencing of woman in our society. We WILL break the good girl rules! #LetUsSpeak
22.01.2022 Hello Lovelies, it's time for some happy news! For years, I've hosted a Facebook group for Survivors to connect and build community and while Facebook is a brilliant platform, for Survivors there are some big issues with visibility and being "outed". I've been working on a solution to this, and I'm proud to let you know that soon, we will have our own private forum where we can connect anonymously (if we want to be anonymous) and have more privacy and freedom of speech (FB do...esn't like some of the terms we need to use and often bans people for it). The forum will remain FREE, however, you will need to create a log-in to use it. This requires an email address, a username, and password creation. The forum will be hosted on my website - as a quick side note, the website is not visually delicious, I've been more concerned with its functionality over design. So please bear with me while we steadily get that bit sorted. The forum named the Sisterhood Circle will be open within a few week's time. I'm stoked to be able to create and curate this kind of community - because we NEED it right now more than ever (especially if you're in a lockdown like me!). Once the Sisterhood Circle is live and ready, I'll post links where you can sign up. Thank you for your support, it's deeply meaningful!

18.01.2022 Outraged by whats happening in Victoria right now? Here's a few ways you can constructively channel your rage and wrath, and be part of the tidal wave of change: 1. Share media coverage on your social media and start conversations with your friends, family, colleagues. This increases the reach and awareness of the issues. ... 2. Donate to the Go Fund Me campaign - this helps Survivors who want to apply for the right to their voice and story, have the financial means to do so (court costs frequently run up into the thousands). No Survivor should be a single cent out of pocket for the mistake of an incompetent government. 3. If you witness trolling or post hijacking on these issues, shut it down. Survivors who want to speak out, protect, and defend themselves can’t for fear of persecution - they need your voice to be theirs right now. One effective way of responding to trolls is simply using the hashtag #LetUsSpeak 4. Write to your local MP if you live in Victoria. Everyone can write and call the offices of Premier Daniel Andrews and Attorney-General Jill Hennessy demanding a change to the law. Their contact information is publicly available. IF YOU NEED TO TALK... What's happening for many Survivors, is going to be triggering. Please reach out for help and support - you ARE NOT ALONE. Free services and supports are available. Call CASA House on 03 9635 3610 or 1800 RESPECT

12.01.2022 Normalise Survivors as experts in their own experiences. They know things and understand nuances of sexual violence on a level non-Survivors can’t. #metoo

03.01.2022 Recover-minos, I am nervous but thrilled, to finally share with you whats been happening behind the scenes. For the last three years-ish, I've been moving through the Justice system and I'm not, finally, three years on, able to share that experience with you.

01.01.2022 Sadly, Daisy is not alone. Untold numbers of women die each year because we collectively FAIL to recognize, rumble, and revolutionize the way we view and support Survivors.
