Given the current COVID situation in Adelaide and the closure of gyms, recreation centres and some pools we have had to move the location for our AGM.... 08.01.2022 *** Recreation SA - AGM & Final Farewell *** To all of our amazing members, stakeholders and supporters. Please find enclosed in this post a member letter and two adjoining letters concerning the Watch Around Water Program. Rec SA has been through a tough year with COVID and a very vigorous strategic review. Courageously, the Board of Directors made the tough decision to wind-up the association. With that being said, we are extremely grateful and excited that the Rec SA & WA...W legacy will continue on (as you will read in the adjoining letters) Our AGM is scheduled for 3pm at The ARC Campbelltown on Monday November 30th - Drinks and nibbles will be provided and we ask that you join us for one last time. Once again, from everyone at Recreation SA we thank you for the fantastic achievements and accomplishments over the years. 08.01.2022 **** Media Release - COVID: Pools **** Dear members of the public, We understand this Thursday, Friday and through the weekend will see temperatures rise to 40c. Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 restrictions (in place until Tuesday 1st December), pools are NOT open for public access to recreational swimmers. ... They are only open for rehabilitation and fitness (lap swimming). The advice from Recreation SA to avoid disappointment is to: plan ahead, check to see if your desired centre is open and make a booking if required, ONLY to attend for fitness or rehabilitation purposes, come properly prepared if you do visit, and WATCH AROUND WATER to keep your family safe. Our centres would love to see you, and we value your business, but we may have to turn visitors away if you are not swimming for fitness or rehabilitation purposes. We can’t wait to see you again once these restrictions have been lifted.

A large amount of pools have closed, some will remain open and work within these restrictions. We can only relay the information we have on hand.
