23.01.2022 Well, final day of our trip down South and here we are at Goulburn PCYC. Huge turnout and a beautiful day for some physical testing! Well done to everyone who was tested this week and again, a HUGE thanks to our PCYC’s for hosting us all week. Good luck to those doing testing this Sunday at Parramatta, as the Nike slogan goes Just Do It. Have a great weekend
16.01.2022 Recruitment Update. With about 70 spots left for the January class it’s starting to get tight, If you are hoping for a spot in class 348, it is imperative that you get your documents, medical and anything else outstanding completed as quickly as possible. To help those that are starting in January or heading to the Academy soon it is imperative that you are working on your fitness. Attached today are examples of the training routines you can expect at the NSWPF Academy and s...hould help you prepare for what’s to come. You should have in place a set training routine to ensure that you are well prepared!! The Live Q & A session earlier this week was a huge success and we will be running another in December with the Head Physical Training Instructor Sgt WITHERS from the NSWPF Academy coming along to fill you in on what you can expect from her and her staff at the Academy. The link for the next combined information and practice session on the 19/12 has been released, check the event section of our FB page to make sure you are online and can book a ticket when they are released. Have a great weekend and good luck to those attending PCT and Psychometric testing this weekend. Please make sure to identify if you are group A or B as half go to the PCT first and the other group to the Psychometric first at Police HQ, before swapping later in the day. Most embarrassing if you turn up to the wrong one!!!
14.01.2022 In this week's special with personal trainer Penny Walsh we take a look at the correct way to do barbell squats. Squats are a great way to build lower body strength, however, if done incorrectly can harmful and potentially dangerous. If you are a beginner or have never done squats before, start without weights and use a wall to assist with balance. Once you gain more strength and confidence slowly add weight to your reps. See you next week for more tips from Meg and Mick...

03.01.2022 Recruitment Update. There are still 13 spots left for the combined information session and practice Fitness assessment on the 14th November 2020 for the 9.00am session and 20 positions for the afternoon session starting at 12.30pm. See the links to below to book your spot. https://www.facebook.com/events/3727366440628512 Morning Session... https://www.facebook.com/events/1536411389897900 Afternoon session Class 348 starting on the 3rd January 2021 is about 50% filled and we are hoping to fill it by the first or second week of December. If you are hoping for a position in this class and are doing your UCWE now, you need to get your medical done ASAP. The medical is the longest part of the Recruitment process. The biggest reason people don’t make it through the medical on the first occasion..applicants not bringing the right paperwork or not answering questions in the medical declaration. You need to answer EVERY question and take your identification documents and any specialist reports you have already obtained. Whilst talking about documents please keep in mind that if you submit a document to us, we do check its validity. Submitting a false or forged certificate would and has resulted in any and all future applicants being rejected. Finally, we have had a lot of questions about the body art modification Policy. In short no tattoos on the hands, face, head or neck and nothing offensive ie; nudity, offensive language, guns, knives etc etc. If you are not sure about this, we have added a link below or send us a PM with a Picture and we can have a quick look. https://www.police.nsw.gov.au//applicat/police_application #nswpfrecruitment #nswpfrecruitmentbranch #nswpoliceforce #nswpolice #policerecruiting #policerecruit #policetraining #pct #Policecareer #policing #policinginformationsession #stinger #Policestinger #nswpolicevehicle #nswpolicestinger #nswpolicecar #nswpolicecars #nswpoliceforcecars #wildtrk #wildtrak #policewildtrk #policeute #policetruck #policeford #fordpolice #coolestpolicecars #fastestpolicecars
