25.01.2022 We’ve heard Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ latest announcement regarding increases to activity capacity limits, subject to venue and group density restrictions. We are currently working through the details as to how this may impact our available services. We’re excited about these changes and want to thank everyone for your ongoing support. Where possible, we will be updating our limits within our booking systems later today to be available throughout the week. 24.01.2022 A reminder to all our members that memberships will be reactivate from Thursday 14 January. Members will still need to book in their sessions via our website to ensure we can contact trace if we have a confirmed case at our centre. We understand that some of you may not be ready to return to your health and fitness routine just yet, which is why we’re offering members a further four-week suspension period if they aren’t ready to reactivate their membership. If you do not want to reactive your membership, please visit our website and complete a suspension form on or before Monday 11 January.

12.01.2022 Centre Updates GROUP FITNESS With the upcoming return of memberships, group fitness classes will begin ramping up from Monday 11th Jan, please note some differing start dates for select classes based around the availability of those class instructors... OPENING HOURS From Wednesday 13th Jan our opening hours will be extended to coincide with the return of members as well as our daytime user groups! Operating hours will be: Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm & 4pm-9pm Fri 6am-2pm & 4pm-8pm Sat 8am-12pm Sun 9am-3pm RESTRICTIONS & PROCEDURES REMAINING IN PLACE In line with current restrictions and advice, the following procedures are still in place for all attendees of the site - Masks are needed to be worn within the centre except for during exercise activity - Bookings are still required for all members and casual attendees before entering the facility and can be book through http://www.recwestfootscray.ymca.org.au//book-a-session.ht

10.01.2022 It’s been a long six weeks Victoria and we are so excited to announce that we will be reopening on November 10! To ensure our staff and the community are kept safe, we are planning a staged approach to reopening our centre and services. The following services will be available from 10/11/20: Casual Gym Entry.... While some of your favourite classes, instructors and times may not be available immediately, we’re excited to welcome you back as we move forward together. At this time, membership payments will not resume. However, we have set up an online booking system to manage the number of people visiting the centre (bookings can be made 48 hours in advance).
