24.01.2022 Hey Everyone, I'm really happy to announce that a long time friend and student of mine Carl has returned to the area and is willing to start a regular yoga class at the Combat House for those interested. Carl teaches a variety of Yoga styles and specializes in Ashtanga which is a bit more physical and challenging and would make a great flexibility / strength component for any serious martial artist that wants to improve their game be it standing or on the ground. ... We'll be kicking off with an hour long Workshop for those that want to give it a go on August 8th, 2020 at 9:00am at a special rate of only $12 to get an idea of how many people would like to have a regular class on the schedule. Be sure to book in as per normal and don't forget tolet me know if you have any questions.

22.01.2022 35 Year Anniversary, 2 Gold/Red Belt Grading's & Sifu Rick Spain's Birthday! Date:1st of August 2020 Location: Red Boat Wing Chun HQ Sydney... Hey Everyone, The weekend of the 1st of August there will be our HQ's 35 Anniversary get together as well as two of our senior students grading for Red & Gold belt levels and let's not forget Sifu's birthday. Being such a monumental event I will be going up to Sydney on the Friday the 31st and will return on the following Sunday. If anyone would like to join me for a little road trip up to the big smoke to partake in the festivities, meet the head of our martial art system and maybe spend some time on mat let me know.. Red & Gold belt grading are fairly rare and not to be missed. If you haven't seen one and are serious about reaching that level of training I highly recommend having a look in.

19.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS & MEMBERS COVID-19 POLICIES / PROCEDURES Combat House is now an officially registered Covid Safe Business.... Of course I will be the acting Covid-19 Safe Hygiene Marshal so please let me know if you have any questions. Please be sure to follow the guidelines below as part of our Covid-19 Safety Plan to ensure that we stay within the NSW guidelines for Indoor recreation facilities. 1. Please be sure to STAY HOME if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms and be sure to get tested immediately. 2. The number of participants per class is approximately 15 Kids and 12 Adults. Please be sure to book in for EVERY class you plan on attending. You can always cancel if you can't make it but try to remember someone else may want to train so try to cancel early if possible. 3. Please be sure to SIGN IN 1st before coming onto the mat. Everybody forgets to do it after class. 4. Please make use of the available hand sanitizer located at the front desk when you enter and the sink area before and after class. 5. Be sure to use your own equipment whenever possible for hygienic purposes. .6. There is only enough room for 4-5 spectators to remain in the small viewing area during class times so if that space is already occupied parents may have to drop off their kids and return at the end of class to pick them up. 7. A handheld temperature reader and sign in register will be available at the front desk. Please be sure to check yourself or your kids and sign in before taking part in a class or if you will be waiting in the viewing area.

15.01.2022 What we do incorporates boxing and Wing Chun. This is a great example of a small guy using sharp skills, defensive movement, and speed to take out a bigger guy with longer reach. Pay attention to how he utilizes the jab to set up everything.

10.01.2022 Mpact Boot Camp this morning at my new favorite work out spot Dolphin Cove. While everyone else is sleeping this crew was up running stairs, doing power push ups, lunges, etc. to a military 4 count. Well done troops!
