23.01.2022 Mary was a strong supporter of the Railway serving on our committee for more than 15 years. Mary was our Publicity Officer for all of this time and hardly a month went by when there wasn't a story in the Sunraysia Daily about the Railway. Mary was also in charge of our ticket office for many years and for most visitors to the railway was the first person they meet.Mary retired from the railway in 2015

22.01.2022 We commence running again this Sunday 1st of March. 1st Run 11am then every half hour until 3:30pm. Sausage sizzle tea and coffee soft drink and souvenirs available. As fire restriction are now in force Diesel Locomotive Harry will be doing the work. We will also be running on Sunday 8th March. EFTPOS is now available for ticket sales.

22.01.2022 RCHSR will not be running this Sunday 6th of December 2020 We are hoping to commence running again on Sunday March 7th 2021. We will keep you informed. Steam Locomotive Lukee had its boiler inspection on the 20th of November and is now good to go for another 2 years. It is a pity that it is now more than 12 months since the Loco has been fired up

21.01.2022 RCHSR will not be operating this Sunday 1st November. On a brighter note a small group of members (during the breaks in strict COVID lockdowns) have been able to replace 50 sleepers. Our next major working B will be to prepare steam loco Lukee for its Boiler inspection. Our AGM will be held on Sunday November 29th commencing at 6pm at our Karadoc station 2 Millewa Rd Red Cliffs. It is planned to have an outdoor meeting. Members and intending members welcome.

16.01.2022 Just a reminder to everyone that we are closed until further notice. Hopefully we will be able to fire up Lukee at least once before the end of the year

05.01.2022 We will not be running this Sunday 2nd August due to COVID 19 restrictions and unless there is a major improvement in the number of cases in Victoria it could be some time before we run again.

05.01.2022 This is normally the busiest time of the year for us, over the next two weeks we would have been running 3 days for local Kindergartens and also our September Fathers day run.
