21.01.2022 At Night Cafe we echo the message of commitment to reconciliation. We have the privilege of working with some first nations people of this land, custodians of the longest living culture in the world. We pay our respect to the elders past, present, and emerging and acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal people whose custodianship of the land, air, and water gives life to the Brisbane region.

15.01.2022 Hey Everyone, It has been a little while between posts! Were here now with an update as to what is happening in the Night Cafe space. ... We were very sad to have to suspend the Night Cafe a month ago.The decision was not made lightly, but with the level of current government restrictions put in place, there wasnt a way we could continue to effectively provide a safe space for Young People. Since that time Youth Workers have been hard at work creating an online space for Young People. The space aims to provide access and effective pathways to gain knowledge and skills, access to resources and services, and improve social connection and participation. The space will be monitored by Youth Workers and work much in the same way as the Night Cafe, just online. For Young People looking to access it, check it out here: www.facebook.com/groups/NightCafeOnline For everyone that has been involved with Night Cafe, we appreciate your tremendous support, especially in times like this. We hope to continue working with you through this challenging time. Together we will get through this. The Night Cafe Team. x

Its... a question we should be asking everyday. So ask that person youve been thinking about #ruok. Start a conversation and actively listen to what they have to say. You can also thank, inspire & ask #ruok. Find out how: www.ruok.org.au
