24.01.2022 The first signs that spring is on the way is the cherry buds swell and have a red tip. Although 95% of our cherry trees are only just starting to get bud movement, the Royal Hazzel will soon be at 50% blossom. The first 2 bee hives are in to start pollinating the flowers. Did you know: Cherry blossom doesn't provide enough nector for bees to make honey. Often bee hives for cherry pollination can run out of honey stores if not carefully managed to maintain enough honey to... feed off. Honey is bees food, it is what they consume in order to go about there buzzy lives. See more
