22.01.2022 Mad Gear was established in 1979. A surfshop based in Broulee which soon began manufacturing it's own range of t-shirts & sweatshirts. Mad Gear produced t-shirts for surf shops Australia wide, as well as designs for Ocean & Earth, Hot Buttered Surfboards, Byrne Surfboards & more. Apart from Broulee, Mad Gear opened shops in Moruya, Batemans Bay & Malua Bay, employing many local people & thriving through the 80's. More about Mad Gear & the people involved later, for now, I hope you enjoy some of the prints & artwork produced in that very creative period.
