24.01.2022 II LAURA JOHNSON VISIT II The kindergarten children enjoyed a special visit to the Laura Johnson Home on a Thursday on our final visit for the year. The children enjoyed listening to music and dancing, along with some fun craft experiences with the elders of our community! It has been a pleasure to share time throughout the year with some very special people on our visits and we cannot wait to see you all again next year!

We would like to Congratulate: Miss Rose for completing her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care; and Miss Riley for recently completing her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. We all celebrated their success with this lovely cake and our traditional foyer gathering with Red Oasis Staff and Children. We are very lucky to have such committed staff working with us at Red Oasis!

16.01.2022 Red Oasis was the place to be last Friday afternoon as Captain LEADSmart made a special visit to our LEADSmart Kindy friends. Together we discussed the importa...nce of healthy eating, handwashing and keeping our play areas clean and tidy. We shared our favourite healthy breakfast options - Cereal, in particular Weetbix was the preferred option with this group! As part of our visit Red Oasis was presented their brand new LEADSmart Sign which will be displayed at the entrance of the Centre. Red Oasis Early Education and Care

13.01.2022 Last week we were very blessed to celebrate culture within our service exploring the exciting experiences of Diwali with Miss Darshika and Miss Sangeeta. This was an amazing week full of enriched cultural experiences throughout the service involing all of the rooms. It was nice to have Miss Darshika join Miss Debbie in the kitchen to create an amazing authentic Butter Chicken for the children to eat!

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Red Oasis Early Education and Care for their LEADSmart accreditation! This morning Mayor Danielle Slade visited the kids at Red Oasis and was... joined by Daniella Hinton from the The Lead Alliance and Uncle Louie Johnson from ReLoveolution for the accreditation presentation. The accreditation acknowledges that Red Oasis meet the criteria set by the Lead Alliance and have incorporated lead awareness and education into their policy, curriculum and practices. They were presented with a sign to display on the front of their premises. Cr Slade, Daniella and Uncle Louie praised the kids for always washing their hands before eating and after playing, and for eating healthy food at kindy and at home. Well done to everyone at Red Oasis Early Education and Care!

03.01.2022 Today Our Children at Red Oasis had a very exciting morning with the Fire fighters and their fire Truck. The children were able to ask questions and talk to the fire fighters about what to do in the event of an emergency. We all got to have a turn of the fire hose and hose down the sandpit. 03.01.2022 II 2019 KINDERGATEN GRADUATION II Thanks to those who joined us in celebrating the end of another year with our Kindergarten Graduation evening at the Terrace Garden Function Centre this week! An enjoyable evening was had by all involved as our tiny graduates recieved their final early childhood certificate before heading off to Big School in the new year! We wish all of our little people the best for their new adventures!
