20.01.2022 Bonus photo time! Yes I reached 100 some time ago. So I might share some of the better pictures since then. Here is No.102: Jacky Winter. To look at, they are possibly the dullest Australian Robin... nothing like those stunning Red Robins. But this little guy makes up for it in character. Bold, inquisitive and happy. A pleasure to have around!

13.01.2022 2019 Bird Pic #99: We are nearly at the 100!! And at last my favorite Red-capped Robin; female from Split Rock Dam and all male photos from near Limbri. Hoping the current fire near there doesn't get to their area.....You can see some short videos of this guy on my youtube channel too

07.01.2022 Bonus Birds! No.104 Eastern Yellow Robin. Common in forests along the east coast, well ones that haven't burnt. Uncommon inland but still found west to around Cobar. Like most Australasian robins they can seem tame and inquisitive.

05.01.2022 Just like you can't choose your family, I couldn't choose the BIG 100th bird pic for the year. But here it is anyway: its a Striped Honeyeater from Split Rock Dam. Poor quality I know.... They are more often heard than seen. They tend to stick to themselves and not form large flocks. Thus they often get overlooked even though they have a wide distribution.

01.01.2022 I thought I'd better post some photos as its been awhile. Bushfires have pre-occupied me! So how about 4 species together to get going again. All tsken from the ever-dropping Split Rock Dam. Species name etc will be in the comments.
