23.01.2022 Well well well, 2nd place in a event with plenty of great competion !! Team Red Rocket Racing completed its final day of racing with illness and injuries riddling the team but we tuffed it out for a very rewarding result !! Going into the day we made some minor changes to the "Rocket" helping to find a little more from our little red rocket in a very strong class, we still struggle with the slowest machine there but the team knuckled down and put plenty on consecutive laps ( ...603 in total ) falling short of 45 laps to the winners. Our, now, good friends and main rivals "Team Snails Racing" went hard early proving the bench mark for us to follow, unfortunitly damage after a hard fall had them withdraw from the day. Taking away from a awesome event we have learnt and look to better the machine and return stronger for 2017's event . . . . the Team would like to thank our sponsors, MotoNational, NSR Security, Race Art Signs and Print, Queensland Marine Hardware. 14.01.2022 Team Racing Snails and Red Rocket Racing are two amateur teams competing in the Springwood Suzuki Scooterthon on the 4th and 5th of June 2016 at Lakeside Racewa...y in QLD. We are looking for donations to help us raise funds for Down Syndrome Association of Qld (DSAQ). Our aim is to start a young playgroup at DSAQ for little ones who were born with Trisomy-21(Down Syndrome). Through the playgroup we hope to encourage new mums, dads and caregivers to network and support each other. New parents to little ones born with Trisomy-21 face a new world that is not that daunting if you have support, information and sometimes just a friend to chat to.
