25.01.2022 What a wonderful example of creativity making others smile.

18.01.2022 This is such a brilliant business idea. Combines recycling with design with practicality. She deserves huge support.

13.01.2022 Third Time Lucky Finally, I’m really proud to send people to my new website and I really didn’t feel that way with the previous two - Marsha Lake. The stats prove that you only have moments to engage your ideal client when she lands on your website. ... Marsha Lake Secretarial Services (MLSS) has built a reputation for accuracy, professionalism and great service over many years, and their saying around the office is our middle name is deadline. However, Marsha knew her website wasn’t reflecting their expertise or supporting the business like it should. I’ve been very lucky that I've had a lot of work coming in for many years, particularly from the Yellow Pages in the early days a lot of large clients came that way. At the time it sort of stopped me from doing more on the marketing side because I was flat out. Like many small business owners, I’ve been busy doing the work and I just didn't have time to think about much else. Sadly, the first two MLSS websites didn’t work well for Marsha’s business. When my previous sites were built, the designers didn’t listened to what I wanted. They never communicated what the best things to do were and they just didn't try to understand my business. What I needed was someone who asked me questions, listened to my answers, learned about my business, and I wanted someone to guide me. But they just didn't offer me that and the websites they created were a reflection of that. I was introduced to HerBusiness earlier this year and came across a Masterclass with Karen from Red&Crew about how to create a website to attract your ideal client. I listened to the podcast and I thought, OMG, this is what I want; I need Karen! She just ticked all the boxes of what I actually required. Marsha kindly sent us this email after Red&Crew delivered her new website: Thank you so much Karen. It is fantastic. I really appreciate your effort, patience and professionalism with building this website. Particularly your help with untangling from my previous web person. Kind regards, Marsha Congratulations MLSS on the launch of your awesome new website which is already bringing in more work for the business. A huge thank you to Marsha Lake for placing your trust in Red&Crew! mlss.com.au

12.01.2022 The personality that "drives" a business Most of us know a few crusty old motor mechanics but they are usually far removed from the popular Cindy Lauper song: "Girls just want to have fun" Galmatic is the brain child of founder and self-proclaimed boss lady, Eleni Mitakos. The business was created to help women and teenagers learn the basics of car care such as how to safely change that pesky flat tyre.... Beginning in 2007, the Galmatic team have helped over 100,000 young people (many of them girls), broach the male dominated world of cars. "We are an all-gal team of four full time trainers and 4 other fabulous gals that help us out on big projects and busy times. We also have some fantastic male trainers that teach for us too!" "With decades of experience in teaching and working in the entertainment industry, we use our unique style to keep students engaged and entertained." The key to Galmatic’s success is keeping things fun while keeping an eye on the road when it comes to learning and safety. In the early days, workshops and school incursions were all in-person events. However, the Galmatic online course is now available and makes the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy for teenager. Galmatic is a great example of a face-to-face business adapting to the new enthusiastic acceptance of the online world, by developing courses that perfectly satisfy their customers' needs. Red&Crew is delighted to work with a client like Galmatic who is willing to embrace change and new ideas for their website. We would also like to congratulate founder Eleni Mitakos on being selected as a finalist in the 2020 Telstra Business Women’s Awards. PS: If you know someone who is struggling with how to offer eCommerce on their website, just tell them to book a call with Karen.

05.01.2022 Great sentiment here about building people and communities up instead of tearing down
