No one in the company does this role so you’ll own the DevOps space and build the processes the way you like them. 08.01.2022 Are you currently updating your resume? Starting to battle the job boards? You probably get a lot of conflicting advice from different #recruiters, it's frustrating I get it. My best advice is to ask yourself, does your #resume read easily? Look at the document, is it easy on the eye? Here are my tips to make sure your resume is read.... Only apply to suitable jobs and #tailor your resume to each #opportunity. Always tailor a #coverletter if you choose to use one. I prefer no cover letter than a generic one. Nothing screams "serial applicant" more than an out of context cover letter. Keep your resume to a maximum of four pages, again tailor it so the relevant experience is obvious. Don't use more than one font and keep your resume standardised. Using too many fonts, sizes and colours can detract from the content. Black is best. The same goes for columns, boxes and tables. It's easier to read a document from left to right than to look at disparate information in random boxes. Always put your phone number at the top.
