17.01.2022 2020 Rugby Season done and dusted! The entire Redbacks Club would like to extend a big congratulations to all of our players, coaches, managers and officials on what has been a tough and testing 2020 season of Rugby. A big congratulations to the 13s, 14s and 17s for making it through to the big dance - a proud and commendable achievement, regardless of the final score! ... Results from yesterday’s Grand Final matches- 13s: USQ def 15 - 0 in a very hot and solid match, with our boys giving it their all right until the final whistle. 14s: Redbacks win over Bears 8 -5 in a thrilling, nail biting, extra time match that saw a 40m penalty kick slotted over the black dot to win the match! An epic and memorable win. 17s: USQ def 19 - 14 in a gruelling, tough slog, with our boys testing the opposition in all aspects right down until the final play. Our Teenage Presentation Night rounds off the season this coming Friday evening at Highfields Sports Park, kicking off at 6pm. Just a reminder to all families, please RSVP numbers by this Tuesday to your managers. We look forward to seeing our families come together to celebrate what has been a long, challenging yet very successful season of the game we love
