25.01.2022 Definately worth Posting and a Laugh

25.01.2022 Just to let folks know, Glenn and I are open here at Redback Technology in Berri (M-F 9-5.30) for your computer and Internet security needs. We have a strict practicing in place with yours and our safety a priority. We are also offering remote services for those who cannot get to us or just chose to stay safe in their own homes. Please support local businesses when and where you can so that all of us small businesses will still be here for you after our state re-opens. And many will deliver if asked, including us, so please support a local before buying online.

23.01.2022 The criminals are out there and ready to pounce so be ready for them. Stay safe and stay smart on line! https://www.cyber.gov.au//covid-19-cyber-security-tips-whe

17.01.2022 The cyber crims are still at it. Don't let your guard down. Stay safe on your computer as well as in your home and don't let these people steal your money! Please share!! https://www.cyber.gov.au//threat-update-covid-19-malicious

17.01.2022 Just wondering if people are aware that if you are expecting that $1080 bonus in your tax return, you may be getting back as little as $0 if you have taxable income less than $20,000. Check out this gov website to see how much you'll be getting back, if anything. I reckon those in the lowest brackets, which includes the elderly, should be getting the full tax refund because they are likely the ones who need it most and will spend it rather than save it, which is the whole purpose of the tax benefit. Please share to let everyone know if they're getting anything or nothing from the fed gov. https://www.budget.gov.au/2/content/estimator/incometax.htm

15.01.2022 The scammers are at it again.Make sure they don't get you! https://www.9news.com.au//29/20/46/scam-warnings-australia

15.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN! For those of you that need any computer services, we are still open for the time being. And for those of you that prefer to not leave your home, we can help you solve your computer problems via Team Viewer (until we are in full lock down then we will all be required to stay at home). www.teamviewer.com Our prices are $35 per 30 minutes. For those of you who cannot bring your computer to us, we can come to you via your computer linking you to our computer. This is... a very safe way to have services performed and the Team Viewer password changes every time you open the program so no one can access your computer without you giving out the Team Viewer generated password. And for those who are able to come to the shop, we have a sanitation protocol in place by sanitising all computers before we work on them, sanitising the EFTPOS machine after each use, cleaning the counter top, pens, and inside and outside door handles and surrounds after every use, as well as anything that a customer comes in contact with. We also have hand sanitiser at the desk for ourselves and anyone else that would like to use it. We’re all in this together and if we follow the guidelines for keeping the Covid-19 away we will hopefully get through this epidemic with minimal Riverlanders getting sick. So stay safe, and ring us if you have any questions or would like to have more info regarding our Team Viewer access. And for those who are close to having their Eset or Kaspersky Internet Security run out, we would urge you to please not let this important program lapse. The scammers and crooks are out there in droves with spam emails (and phone calls) so you need to keep this valuable service up to date. It costs far less for an annual activation code than the frustration and grief, and not to mention, the cost of getting rid of viruses and spyware. Please share this. Let’s support each other during these uncertain times. And thank you to those who have supported us for over 20 years! Again, stay safe! Glenn and Sadie Pascoe

13.01.2022 A timely reminder from those in the know. Please spread the word and share this post to protect everyone. So many people have recently told me that they have received one of these calls, so these crooks are quite actively working the Riverland area. 4 April 2019 What’s happened?...Continue reading

12.01.2022 Recently there has been an increase in spam email that say that your internet security program is expired or about to expire, and to click on the included link to renew your security. They are from a [email protected] address, which is not a real address yet is using the ‘tpg.com.au’ as a local and familiar Australian Internet Service provider. The email looks legitimate, however if you click on reply, their email address is revealed and is not from the company that the email ...Continue reading
