24.01.2022 Coffee table project update. Getting things ready for the epoxy pour. I will publish the pictures of my final river design tonight at 8pm.

22.01.2022 The timber for making these 2 pieces came from 3 different trees! Cut, shave, burn and blend. All of this just to make 2 canvasses!

13.01.2022 Evening all, I promised to show you the steps in making my new and very high-end coffee table. So, here is the timber (Jarrah burl 800mm long) and the botanicals that I will be using in the river. Amongst them are 3 of the rarest Banksia species in Australia! LIKE MY FLOWERS? :)

05.01.2022 Folks, This is a really boring update on my Jarrah burl coffee table. One of the slabs was so badly twisted that I had to do major surgery underneath it and glue it up with super strong adhesive. I have included a picture of mould as well. Now that the slabs are straight, let the games begin.

D. Banksia dryandroides E. Banksia ornata F. Banksia verticillata G. Banksia paludosa H. Banksia quercifolia A and F are amongst the rarest of Banksia species in Australia. Handful of plants left in the wild. :(
