25.01.2022 ANZAC Day is tomorrow and we will all experience a different way to commemorate. #StandatDawn at 0600. Lest We Forget.

25.01.2022 2021 The Best Is Yet To Come! Well there's no doubt that 2020 was a year like no other, so it's not going to take a lot to make 2021 a better year, but we're looking forward to all that this year has to offer. But first some housekeeping.... We all made changes to how we do business in 2020 and that for a lot of us meant closures, working from home and saying goodbye to open doors and walk-in traffic. Both the Yarrawonga and Fyshwick sites are still open for business, but you MUST make an appointment. This allows us to keep you and our staff safe and adhere to our Covid Safety policies. This year sees us with the hope that we'll be back out in the mix seeing everyone at some leading industry events. Check out the events below showcasing the best our industry has to offer and where you can see us throughout 2021. At Red Baron ALSE we are Proudly Australian and Veteran owned. Our flight equipment and knowledge is cutting edge and we welcome you to take flight with us. We take pride in our commitment to customer satisfaction and work hard to ensure our impeccable reputation for service remains flawless. We repair and refurbish equipment and our dedication to aviation safety shines through in the quality of our workmanship. Our prices are affordable and competitive, making it possible for more people to enjoy the high standards of our work and the quality of our products. We are Red Baron ALSE. On a personal note myself and the whole team at Red Baron ALSE would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and custom during what has been a incredibly challenging time for all. Yours in safety, Greg Bayne Managing Director Land Forces - 1-3 June, 2021 Rotor Tech - 15 - 17 June, 2021 Avalon Air show - 23 - 28 November 2021

20.01.2022 A beautiful and very fitting Memorial Service today at Peak View, near Cooma. An emotional day, commemorating 1 year since our Coulson aerial firefighters Ian ...McBeth, Paul Hudson and Rick DeMorgan JR died when their LAT, Bomber 134 crashed while fire fighting. We will never forget their sacrifice. May their families, and especially their children, always know their dads were true heroes, doing remarkable work saving the lives and properties of the people of NSW. Thank you again to the Peak View NSW Rural Fire Service, local community and all involved in creating such extraordinary memorials and for organising and conducting such an important Service today. 20.01.2022 Thanks to the ADF for helping out our wildlife in their time of need. Reports have claimed a loss of over 500 million wildlife and their habitat has been destroyed. The team here do not normally request donations, but if you feel the need to donate, their are wildlife charities that would welcome your financial assistance.

15.01.2022 For the Fallen BY LAURENCE BINYON With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,... England mourns for her dead across the sea. Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit, Fallen in the cause of the free. Solemn the drums thrill; Death august and royal Sings sorrow up into immortal spheres, There is music in the midst of desolation And a glory that shines upon our tears. They went with songs to the battle, they were young, Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow. They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted; They fell with their faces to the foe. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. They mingle not with their laughing comrades again; They sit no more at familiar tables of home; They have no lot in our labour of the day-time; They sleep beyond Englands foam. But where our desires are and our hopes profound, Felt as a well-spring that is hidden from sight, To the innermost heart of their own land they are known As the stars are known to the Night; As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust, Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain; As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness, To the end, to the end, they remain. ........ We Will Remember Them Lest We Forget

12.01.2022 Workin at the plane wash. . It takes us a little longer to wash one of our KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transports than your average car. We dont just do i...t to get our aircraft looking good. Its an important measure to prevent corrosion and wear and tear on the paint. Taking a minimum of six technicians eight hours, we give our KC-30s a tub every 93 days. #AusAirForce #AirMobility #MobilityMonday

03.01.2022 Fires are still burning in parts of Australia and ACT has declared a state of emergency. Our team at Fyshwick have their fire plan ready and our fingers crossed that all will be well. A huge shout out of thanks to our team as they have dealt with hail storms, fires near work and power loss whilst dealing with an influx of work due to the fires. We take this opportunity to thank the fire fighting teams, on the ground and in the air. Stay safe.

02.01.2022 A VERY DIFFERENT 2020 Our first Newsletter was supposed to be different, then COVID-19 came along and turned our world upside down......for now. At Red Baron ALSE, were still working during this time, providing our valued clients the same service, expertise and care that we always have, theres just a little more cleaning, sterilising and distancing involved now.... 2020 for us, is a big year, one were proud of and Id written a post about just that, before COVID-19 was on our shores. Since then, Ive been conflicted, asking myself and our team "how can we celebrate and feel proud when so many are suffering" and then we decided to look at it from another angle. COVID-19 may define 2020 for us, but like many were still here working hard for our clients and that is worth celebrating. Were proud and want to share some good news amongst what seems to be never ending bad news......... So, here it is - my first Newsletter. Please note that Ive made a few edits here and there but by and large its as it was. I hope you enjoy........ We really are all in this together and if we can help, we will. Read more of our birthday story here https://www.redbaronalse.com.au/its-our-birthday/

01.01.2022 No puns or flowery language today- just this message, crystal clear: We are here. We are ready. We are safe.
