20.01.2022 HSC Class of 2020 The HSC class of 2020 have much to celebrate and they are to be congratulated on what they have achieved in their results today. They should feel a real sense of accomplishment and success in completing the HSC in this unprecedented year. It has been a most challenging year and the students have responded with dedication, resilience and adaptability. We are especially proud of the students and their outstanding effort that has led to this success. It is a c...redit to them in how they have navigated their final year at school. They take with them skills learnt throughout their time at the College and these skills will help them in their future endeavours. Thirty percent of the students achieved a band 5 or 6 result in their chosen subject area which is a mark of 80 or above. Within this thirty percent, there are nine students who are Distinguished Achievers with band 6 results, which equates to a mark of 90 or above. Even more pleasing is the strong learning gain across the whole cohort. We congratulate Hannah Mattiske on being awarded the Dux of the College. We are extremely proud of our students and what they have achieved across all levels of achievement. While we celebrate their success’ academically we also take pride in the fact that our Year 12 cohort leave our College as Good Christians and Good Citizens.

05.01.2022 ANNUAL HAMPER COLLECTION You are all invited to join in with our Annual Hamper collection for Vinnies and Nells Pantry. Last year, we collected a record number of goods which went to Vinnies and Nell’s Pantry. Our community was so grateful with what we gave. We at Red Bend are good citizens and good Christians in so many ways and this is one of those ways. This year, we invite you once again to bring in goods for the hampers. All PCs will be given a product to bring in and place in PC baskets. All baskets will be used at the final thanksgiving liturgy of this year.
