09.01.2022 I've made a start on my Winter Challenge sketchbook with backgrounds ... a painted wash of colour, some splotches and glued some torn newsprint. Adding some salt to wet paint creates an interesting texture when it dries. I pulled out some fabrics, and papers which might be useful for collage too ...

05.01.2022 FEBRUARY MEETING .... this Friday 26 February Good news: We can use the kitchen again, so we are back to our amazing morning teas provided by generous volunteers. Numbers in the hall are now limited to 60! Visitors are always. They just pay $5 for the day. Maybe you could ask a friend who would be interested in our guest speaker to come.... We’ll have a ‘lucky door prize’ of a slightly bruised/damaged 2020 book Walk, Jog, RunA FreeMotion Quilting Workout: MuscleMemoryBuilding at the February meeting.
