25.01.2022 Due to unforeseen circumstances, Niina Marni Cafe will be closed until further notice. Today (18/3) will be the last official day of opening. Thank you to our l...oyal customers, Staff and the Town of Gawler Council for your support. We will keep everyone updated. Come along today and support a local family business by purchasing $2 cakes until 2:30pm today.

24.01.2022 Given the health risks involved in public gatherings and to ensure the safety of our staff and community, the following range of non-essential programs have bee...n cancelled until further notice: Town of Gawler Ageing & Disability Expo 2020 Relay for Life Tri-Five Classics (Car show) Caravan and Camping Swap Meet It is also noted that the RSL Gawler Sub-Branch has cancelled all ANZAC Day Commemorations in Gawler for 2020. Currently there have been no recommendations from the Federal Government relating to indoor gatherings which include Council Programs. Notwithstanding this, in the interest of protecting all concerned, it is advised that the following non-essential programs have also been cancelled until further notice. Youth Programs Gawler Sport and Community Centre Skating Programs and Council delivered Gentle Fitness Programs Library Programs including Story Time Gawler Civic Centre Programs The Gawler Visitor Information Centre will also be closed until further notice and its programs (including walking tours) have also been suspended. Council Staff will contact anyone who has booked to attend any of the cancelled programs over the coming days and refunds will be provided where applicable. The following Council operated facilities will remain open subject to further advice from authorities as the situation changes: Gawler Administration Centre including Customer Service Gawler Civic Centre including Library Service Evanston Gardens Library Gawler Aquatic Centre Gawler Sport and Community Centre Gawler Elderly Centre Paxton Street Operations Depot In relation to Council Leased facilities these tenants are required to comply with any Federal or state department of Health directive.

Thanks to Yuandamarra and Nadia from Red Centre Enterprises yarning about bush tucker Thanks to Scott Rat...hman Jnr and Tim on the bass. Deadly music fellas! Thanks to the great crowd who showed up every week to support Nunga Fringe. Today is our last day for Nunga Fringe 2020. It's been a fun and thought provoking cultural journey. Big thankyou to Niina Marni cafe for hosting us. Jack Buckskin for teaching us kaurna language. Aunty Kay and Aunty Elaine for basket weaving and feathered flowers. Our resident artist Irrapina art creations who exhibited his beautiful artwork. And Gawler Reconciliation Action Group for story telling, truth telling, and coordinating the event. Till next year
