13.01.2022 Meet Phil Hungerford, RTC Life Member and our new Monday night run coach. He will be taking the Monday's 5pm session from the 12th of July. For those who dont't know, Phil has been an expert run coach for over 35 years, helping some of Brisbane's top running talent. He's also the Race Director of Bribie Tri and QLD Half Marathon, Run Coach for Cam's Cycling Collective, The Run Inn Runners as well he is the former owner of 'The Run Inn'. Phil has helped people learn how to ru...n their first 5km right through to taking on the marathon, and we cant wait to have him share his running expertise with RTC members. We believe Phil will be a great addition to our coaching ranks, and are extremely grateful he has agreed to take on the role. The club would love to thank Stan Fetting for his service over the past 12 months taking the run sessions during difficult times, and wish Stan well in his new endeavours. We will still see Stan at the track as he continues to run and train, and look forward to having him back up Phil when needed. Thank you! See more

13.01.2022 2020 RTC Christmas ride! 6:00 am Saturday 12th December, will be our Christmas ride. Starting at Pelican Park, multiple groups, (based on age and ability) will ride around the peninsula returning for coffee/juice and a brekky sausage. We will also judge our best dressed and Secret Santa Steal and have some fun. This year we have also invited past and life/hall of fame members to also come along. To join us all you need is to decorate your bike, dress up, bring a plate of fun food and a gift that costs no more than $10. 9 am will see those who are keen head to the Aqua Park for some water fun, with a meet up at Crow n Arrow in the afternoon for the adults, another chance to catch up with old friends.

Please note - Tykes, T...rikes and Training Wheels is now included in BOTH weekends and is now open through the online portal. As per COVID-Safe protocol, no race weekend entries will be available for these event weekends and a strictly limited field size will be enforced. 02.01.2022 From Monday 24th of August we will have a new coach joining our ranks. Stan Fetting an accomplished runner and coach will be taking our Monday night running at the new time of 5:15pm (warm up) with the session starting @5:30pm. - Stan has hung around RTC like a bad smell since 2002, doing the odd triathlon but focusing mainly on running. Inspired and mentored by Graham Bliss, he began his run coaching career by co-pioneering South Pine Striders in 2006. His running career ...has been focused on ultras for the last 15 years, finishing 10 Comrades and earning his first Western States buckle last year. Stan describes his training philosophy as conservatively ambitious: take on big goals but train smart. "Blissy taught me to train when you train, race when you race. This has sustained me through many years of punishing mileage and fast marathons." Stan has been a gym owner for the last 6 years, selling just before COVID, and still works as an independent trainer and coaches online. Welcome Stan
