25.01.2022 Thank you to Sydney Swans player Dylan Stephens for coming back to visit his old stomping ground! It was a great surprise for Mr Beer who is a keen supporter of... the Sydney Swans Dylan had a chat with his former teachers and the kids, and donated his Indigenous Round guernsey (which he signed). This guernsey will be auctioned off on the Hattah Roadhouse Facebook page in the near future, with all proceeds going to support RCPS student Brandon Walters and his family. Brandon is currently receiving treatment in Melbourne for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. See more

15.01.2022 Red Cliffs' Jaimon Lidsey and his Unia Leszno team have made it into the Speedway Ekstraliga final for a 4th year in a row! The Speedway Ekstralgia is the top speedway competition in the world. In the second semi-final match at home they knocked out Falubaz Zielona Góra, winning 57:33. The team will play in the Grand Final against either Stal or Spart Wrocaw, with two days of racing held over the next two Sundays. Jaimon will have a busy weekend, considering he's in the final of the U21 world championships this Saturday!

11.01.2022 100 years ago today - an athletics carnival was held in Red Cliffs on a Wednesday afternoon by the new Red Cliffs Sporting Club - it's very first. The "chief events" were all running races, a 75 yard sprint (70 m), a 100 yard handicap (90 m) and a 440 yard handicap (400 m). All these races were carefully handicapped. 01.01.2022 Red Cliffs' Jacaranda Village has just won the 2020 Industry Collaboration Award at the Victorian Training Awards, in collaboration with SuniTAFE, Sunraysia Institute Of TAFE, Princes Court, Chaffey Aged Care and Murray House Aged Care! Jacaranda Village and the other three local not-for-profit aged care facilities joined together with SuniTAFE to develop and deliver training specifically designed for them. This cooperation has been judged to be the best example of industry training collaboration in the entire state! The collaborating partners will now represent Victoria at the Australian Training Awards. The winners of these awards will be announced on Friday November 20th.
