20.01.2022 Training for our Juniors will be as normal For our club, during COVID-19, it has always been about getting the kids active again. Training is a big part of that process. Whilst the current restrictions remain in place and we as a community are COVID-19 free, training will continue as normal. We appreciate that this may not appeal to everyone but we thought it was appropriate to offer it to those that want it. Healthy heart, Healthy mind. All fees paid will be rolled over ...to 2021. See you all Thursday

17.01.2022 Michael Bowden OAM Needs little introduction. He was captain coach of our football club for three years. He took the position on in 1977 when the club was struggling and developed us into an absolute force by the time he left in 1979. The premierships we won in 1980, ’81 and ’85 could not have been achieved without his tutelage during his time as coach. In addition to this he won the SFNL League Best and fairest McLeod Medal in 1978 whilst a tiger. Although he will b...e remembered as being a great coach for our club he was much, much more. He was a man of great compassion and courage and left an ever-lasting legacy with the RCFNC and many within our community. Michael passed away earlier this year on the 11th of April in Darwin. Since his passing a decision was made to renovate the oval at O’Loughlin Catholic College in Darwin and to name it the ‘Michael Bowden Oval’. Michael’s son, Rhett is currently the principal of this College. The campaign to raise funds for this has been supported by the Australian Sports Foundation, the Northern Territory Government, and many other organisations. The Bowden family have reached out to the football clubs where Michael coached and have asked for donations towards the project. RCFNC cannot think of a better tribute to a wonderful human being like Michael Bowden, so we are jumping on board and taking donations and will present a cheque to the Bowden family from the RCFNC Tiger Family. Donations can be made to: BSB 033242 Acc 570904. your name as a reference

Bert Keeble An absolute legend to the Red Cliffs Football Club in the 80’s and 90’s. He could bomb a goal outside the 50m line and no one dared to pick a fight or tackle him. He was a Mighty Tiger and a Proud Premiership player. ... RIP #50

06.01.2022 We are super pumped to hear today that former RCFNC netball player Tahlia Meyer has signed with the SAINTS in the AFLW! We are so proud of her achievements and making her dreams a reality. Tahlia started netball with RCFNC back in 2009 as an U15’s junior, winning an U17’s premiership in 2012 and finished up with 38 A Grade games before heading off to Uni and hitting the footy field.
