24.01.2022 Setting the stunning beach sunset benchmark pretty darn high. Awesome image @chipphillipsphoto

24.01.2022 Our main girl Meg is missing, Western Australia. This lovely dog is the reason Killili became what it is. Nearly all of our dogs are out of her or related to... her. And now shes missing. Meg has gone missing from the Meeragoolia Homestead. Which is East of Carnarvon WA. She was last spotted mid morning on the 17th July on the Gascoyne Junction Road road 4kms East of the Meeragoolia Station turnoff. Has a faded/dirty yellowish collar on, could be mistaken for brown. Has an old injury on one of her front feet, the best way to describe if would be as Splayed. I believe she has been picked up by a traveller roughly halfway between Carnarvon and Gascoyne Junction. If you know of someone that suddenly has a nice, calm older Kelpie please check if its Meg. Her flat foot will easily help identify her. Willing to offer a reward, no questions asked. Please help get Meg home. If anyone locates her can they please call myself -0899485002 or Doorawarrah - 0899425949. #lostdog #missingdog #stolendog

16.01.2022 Karijini and Millstream Chichester National Parks Update The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions wishes to advise that following: Karijini ...National Park remains closed until further notice, including the Karijini Eco Retreat. The park has received significant rainfall this week which has made the roads and gorges unsafe with the risk of flooding and possibly flash flooding occurring during rain events. Millstream Chichester National Park remains closed, due to water over the roads in a number of places. The access road to Python Pool has been closed by the Shire of Ashburton, therefore no access is available to this area. People are urged to avoid the area, follow the advice of Parks and Wildlife Service staff and observe signage. The Department will continue to provide updates as required. Parks and Wildlife Service apologises for any inconvenience. For further information please contact the Parks and Wildlife Service Karratha Office on (08) 91822000.

10.01.2022 REMEMBERING RED DOG On November 21, 1979 exactly 40 years ago today Pilbara legend Red Dog was put to rest. Red Dog was a friendly kelpie-cross who li...ved his life hitching rides and travelling throughout WAs Pilbara region, and even as far south as Perth. He is believed to have been born in Paraburdoo in 1971 and has touched the lives of people in Australia and around the globe after his story was made into a feature film in 2011. Red Dog is buried in an unmarked grave somewhere between Roebourne and Cossack and a memorial statue is located on the outskirts of Dampier. RIP mate. Red Dog WA.

09.01.2022 Today would have been Year 7 of Red Dog Relay & Festival had funding continued. Best wishes to the many supporters, you never know a comeback might happen one day. In meantime please share your happy 2013-16 images. Cheers Peter

07.01.2022 Happy 2018 everyone.
