02.01.2022 Generator shed built on Little Rat Island in the Abrolhos. Plan was inititially to re-clad but shed was in such poor shape it was totally rebuilt with a CCA pine frame and cladded in sisilation and fibre cement sheeting. Roof was sheeted with colourbond steel, all fixings stainless steel and isolated with nylon sleeving to avoid galvanic reactions to the CCA and salt riddled environment of open ocean. Painted in a standout colour to stay in contrast with the wild landscape of decrepit old fishing shacks dotted around the island.
