13.01.2022 The average Australian consumes 19 serves of junk food a week and far fewer serves of the recommended intake of fibre-rich fresh food. This leaves us overfed, undernourished and mentally worse off.

04.01.2022 Thankful Thursday. Today we are grateful to all the farmers and foodies in this region who believe in food. To those of you choosing to farm when the beauracrat...s, the activists, the industrial food producers seem to be doing their best to stop you - Thankyou. And to the consumers who give a damn where your food comes and who search out and support local, small scale farms even when it’s not as convenient as a supermarket - Thankyou. And to those businesses, individuals and organisations who promote, facilitate or serve locally produced food and who are such wonderful advocates for our hard working local producers - Thankyou. What a wonderful vibrant diverse community we have here in the Mary Valley and greater Gympie Region. We are so grateful to be part of it. See more

03.01.2022 You have probably noticed that we haven't posted for quite some time! At the beginning of the year, I decided not to return to growing certified organic vegetables. There was a number of reasons why we decided that a market garden just wasn't for us. I want to thank you all so much for your support over the 3 years I was growing. Please keep supporting your local growers and learn to grow yourselves as it really is the only way for a sustainable future!

01.01.2022 The chickens can’t believe their luck! They are allowed in the garden! Happy chooks! All our crops are pretty much finished for the year and we are taking some time off to recharge the batteries and enjoy some family time over summer. We won’t be back selling now until April 2019! We’d like to sincerely thank everyone who supported our little farm this year and hope you all have a fabulous Christmas break too! Merry Christmas! ... Love Courtney, Keiran, Mikayla, Jackson and Zoe! See more
