23.01.2022 **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** After today receiving direction from Athletics North Queensland, Red Earth Running must make the unfortunate decision to cancel all training sessions effective immediately. This is due to concerns with the ongoing spread of COVID-19. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to see you all at our sessions each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, we ask that you stay posted as we look for alternative arrangements for you. We believe in the power o...f physical activity to improve physical, mental and social health. To that end, our amazing coaches will spend the next few weeks creating virtual events, weekly challenges and potentially even virtual training sessions. These will be posted on Social Media in due course. While COVID-19 seems to have removed a lot from our lives, it does not have the power to remove our community. Please continue to encourage and support each other over the coming months. There will always be more running events, so continue to train within the guidelines set by your governing authorities. And don’t forget that our Red Earth Running Merchandise Store closes on Friday - thanks to social media, you’ll still get the opportunity to show off your brand new merch! We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you for making Red Earth Running the success it is. We will continue to support you through this time as you have supported us. We will continue to provide updates regularly, so keep checking our Social Media Channels for any changes. Stay posted Red Earthers, we’ll be coming up with alternative arrangements soon!
16.01.2022 The Spring Bean are one of our AMAZING sponsors who are financially supporting the Red Earth Running community. If you are healthy and low risk, can we ask that you seek to order from them this week? Why not get a takeaway coffee after your run? At times like this it is critical we do what we can to support our local guys. They are the life of our community - let’s give them a little life back Red Earthers. ...

Sounds like you are in for more than one run this week my friend! Stay tuned - we’ll soon be posting some entries from our first challenge! There were some crackers

If you’d like to be a part of our challenges, please join our Red Earth Running Strava Club. Our very first challenge is to create a picture/symbol/word/sentence during a run. Use your Strava to help you with this!... Due Date: Sunday 22 March 2020, 11:59:59PM RULES Walk/run must be at least 4km in length. Only those submissions created on foot (walking/running) will be accepted. Nothing inappropriate, obvs. You can submit as many entries as you wish between now and the due date. Feel free to share your submissions as you go to inspire others and earn brag-points by screenshotting your map artwork and posting it in your feed. Be sure to tag us! Good Luck!
07.01.2022 Our favourite coach decided to take dad for a walk today! Our first submission for our second challenge was to one of our sponsors, Get Smart Financial Solutions (coincidentally, we think now more than ever is a good time to chat to them). Keep your submissions coming guys, we are loving the photos and we are so excited to see your passion for supporting local businesses!
02.01.2022 Our favourite RER Doc Nathan Walmsley used the Art Attack Challenge to share a very important message. We think this takes the cake!
