Bootcamp101 goes back to basics and is for ladies who may not be sure where to start with an exercise program or if it's been a little while since doing anything. It's in a small group format so you can get the attention you need and it's exclusively for women! This program usually only runs a few times each year (and only once last year due to the "wordly circumstances!") so we are so excited to be able to offer this again. Well done at boxing. You pushed through doubling up with the trainer when you didn’t feel 100%. Great work Trainer SJ - Wednesday pm ladies well done in your session you all stepped out of your comfort zone and tried new exercises and killed the sled . I love how you ladies all put in 100% effort but also have lots of fun. 23.01.2022 Drills, 100m sprints and a 1km time trial to finish Our Run Crew this morning had a bit of everything all done to their own pace. There’s no competition, except with yourself, and this morning was an example of this with the ladies cheering others on in the sprints and time trial!!... A few 1km PBS were done today which is a HUGE effort at the end of the session!! Your training is paying off girls!! Special mention to Jodie B who, being only new to running, absolutely gave it her all in the sprints today!! You’re on fire Jodie!!

Friday 4.30pm - Bootcamp session!! The run group has been requested by many who can’t attend our 5.30am session Thursdays, so we are starting one just for you!!! 16.01.2022 Yesterday we held a fun info session Finding Your Inner Mojo We heard three lovely ladies speak of some of their success, goals achieved and lifestyle committments. The focus for this session was - what motivates some people to set big goals, and do everything in their power to achieve it, regardless of how tough it gets? ... What drives them to keep going and stay on track, even if the end seems so far out of sight? What gets them out of bed in the morning when they just don’t feel like it? We heard from: - A member who has dropped 30+kgs over the past few years, and achieved some massive sporting goals - A mum of two who committed to a ironman triathlon - 3.9km ocean swim, 180km cycle and 42.2km run - and achieved it - (15 months prep) - A member who has been training consistently for TEN years now - what drives her to keep showing up?! Regardless of their goals, there was one common message at the core of it all. Making your training a non-negotiable. Scheduling it as an appointment you must keep with yourself. Having just do it and no excuses mentality! They want to be healthy, fit, agile, and positive role models for their kids, so they have to do the work congruent to achieving that! Play the long game - There will be setbacks, but as long as you pick yourself up and keep going, that’s all that matters!! Thank so much ladies for sharing your insights and motivations!

13.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We wish you all a very happy, fulfilling and successful 2021!! 2020 was an unexpected year for everyone! ... A year that started with excitement and dreams for the new century... Which quickly changed to fear of the unknown. Transitions and innovations. Social distancing, hand sanitiser, working from home and home schooling became normal. Businesses were forced to close. Zoom became the new way of communicating. Together, the whole community got through it, and came out the other side thriving! We can’t thank our members and all of Mackay enough for your support this year! After the craziness, our members were more motivated than ever and regardless of their goals there was something for them! Our 2020 8 Week Little Black Dress Project had huge success with individual goals! Our running crew ran their own half marathon with the Mackay Marina Run cancelled this year! First time half marathoners and shorter distances were also accomplished! . So many PBs Our first ever Red E Mini Triathlon was held and so many ladies ticked the goal of a triathlon off the list!! A huge year of change and a huge year of finding clarity as to what you really want in life and what is most important - your health and that of your family We can’t wait to see what 2021 brings for our #RedEFitFam and know that will hard work and determination, anything is possible, regardless of what is thrown at us!! 2021 - bring it on!!!
