24.01.2022 Congratulations to all the Samford Swim Club members who raced so well today at the Albany Creek Swim Carnival! There was some very fast swims and a lot of fun! If you missed out on nominating for today’s meet, don’t worry, there is another one coming up at Morayfield (near Caboolture) on Sunday the 22nd of November. 21.01.2022 We are organising an open day at Samford pool on Monday the 27th of January. This is the public holiday for Australia Day. To celebrate we are hosting the Samford 800, it is an Australia Day tradition that the Grimseys have taken part in since about 10 years of age. It is an 800metre swimming event in the Samford pool supported by Samford and Districts Progress and Protection Association Inc, it is FREE to enter and we will be hosting a FREE Breakfast BBQ on the day for all who take part. Come and help us celebrate and take part in the 800m timed swim! There are only 80 spots available so if you want to swim you will need to register fast! Due to the developing COVID-19 situation, with the social responsibility and safety of our valued customers at the forefront and the updated government trading restrictions, we will be temporarily closing our venue from midday (12pm) today (Tuesday the 24th of March). 02.01.2022 http:// Samford Pool Reopening- IMPORTANT INFORMATION // We are excited to announce that we will be reopening this coming Monday the 18th of May, following the easing of QLD State Government COVID-19 restrictions. Due to restrictions on the number of swimmers at the pool, we will be open for exercise, lap swimming and training only- no recreational swimming. ... As we are only allowed a maximum of 10 people at our pool at any one time we will also require that you call and pre-book your swim time. Bookings are only in 30min or 60min time slots and we will only take bookings up to 48 hours in advance. Call us during standard business hours on 0448 726 343. Bookings are subject to availability and there is no guarantee that the time you request to book will be available. Our hours of operation as of Monday May 18th are as follows: Mornings- Monday to Friday: 6am-8:30am Afternoons-Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm -6pm Friday afternoon: 2:30pm - 5:30pm Saturday: 7am - 12pm Sunday: 8am - 12pm Hours are subject to change.
