19.01.2022 "Braveheart", the spotted dove, (nee Chilly) is on the mend. It's been 3 weeks today, he was saved from mynahs and vets trying to kill him. He's been eating, preening and now coo-ing. The show off wants to update you all with his new tail feathers. A couple of weeks to go and I'll post his video release. Stay tuned.

01.01.2022 Three days ago this poor little guy was under 20 mynah birds trying to kill him. Got him out and has no tail feathers. After visiting 3 vets recommended by Wires, they wanted to kill him too. As a non native, it's law.....! He has been checked and OK, but needs 2-4 weeks to grow feathers to fly around again. He's survived 2 nights with my food (am amazed.....) Will keep you informed of progress. His name is now "Chilly"
