19.01.2022 One to the framer's yesterday and 2 picked up.. These beauties have been in iso for 8 months and they are well worth the wait.. Framing just adds another depth to the painting, and making sure you pick the right frame and mats that will enhance the painting is especially important.. 805mm x 1105mm framed with double mats.. These colourful paintings will be on my site this afternoon.. Enjoy...

11.01.2022 It is certainly interesting times we are living in at present, stage 4 lockdown, masks and social distancing. So as a painter, times like these you turn inward and look at what beauty you can create that will make your world look and feel that much better. Helping to get you through the times where you see friends and loved ones struggling... Today I thought I would do such a thing. As it turned out it was incredibly emotional and very therapeutic at the same time,. My beauti...ful mother in law Jan passed away 4 years ago and she has been with us since that time (her ashes). Today was the day I painted her urn, in readiness for laying her to rest. You know you think you have worked through things , but the tears flowed.. The result, lots of colour, lots of light...feel honoured to have done this. Sorry for the long read, today was the culmination emotionally of so many things.... We are human after all.. 08.01.2022 Finally up on the wall after being at the framer's.... Looks amazing... Decided not to name it as nothing clear was coming.... Too many emotions tied up in it... But its awesome on so many dark and good levels..... Have another one drying that I have just finished... which I will get framed down the track.... 850mm x 1115mm.... 02.01.2022 Well this last week has been extremely cathartic.... Its pretty amazing how different feelings and styles produce themselves on the canvas... Here are 2 that I have completed over the past weeks... The beach one finished last night is called "going home".. The other.. Well I reckon its left over from the fires and the evacuation of the parents etc earlier this year.. Both I really like... Haven't been able to find the right name for it yet...
