In light of current circumstances, I think it's fitting that we send our Thanks to those in the ADF....we've had a lot of new supporters join us lately...Please remember, this is a non-political platform, & is a means of Thanking the everyday Australians who CHOOSE to defend each of us, & this incredible life we're all free to enjoy! ! THANKS Ladies & Gents... Here's to You!!

23.01.2022 Here's one for the SHARE button. A truly powerful image that tells it like it is.

18.01.2022 A big RedFriday shout out to all the guys & gals serving today, doing what they do best, so the rest of us can do as we please!! http://www.redfriday.org.au/

13.01.2022 Hi everyone!! Just a note from Amber Martin, if anyone is :willing to help, please contact her..she is one of this organisations first supporters, & is an amazing advocat, who works tirelessly (& selflessly, a lot of the time!) for the cause. : Hey guys, hoping you can help out with a few words... I already started another art work... yes, had 3 days off and now itching to get stuck back into it! The artwork I am doing is based on PTSD, within the military and also how Vetera...n's deal with it on a day to day basis after service. I am after only words this time, not pictures. It can be just a few words, a poem or a paragraph related to the everyday life of a soldier suffering from it or even a Veteran who is trying to deal with it after being discharged. I realise that these are very private and your name will not be published or released, it is completely confidential!. I plan to incorporate these words into a painting to bring only awareness of PTSD. If you would like to share, please email me at [email protected] Thank you :) (Please feel free to share the post) See more

13.01.2022 This mom went through part of her labor thinking her husband, a Marine in Afghanistan, was going to miss it. She tried calling Red Cross to get ahold of him but... they told her she needed to give them 3 days notice to reach him. Impossible!! She headed to the hospital and shortly after being checked in, her husband contacted her via Skype to chat before bed. Although he was not able to be there physically because he was serving our country, he was able to watch his daughter come into this world from almost 8,000 miles away thanks to modern technology. {Miracle Moments Birth Photography} More amazing stories at Birth Without Fear.

12.01.2022 Alrighty then...we're on the move....we'd love to hear from anyone who is interested in getting a "RedFriday" going ...at your school, sport club, workplace etc. As simple as approaching your principal/president/boss & taking a gold coin donation to wear Red to show your support. We have our first school registered to go ahead...official announcement to follow very soon ;) Anzac Day is approaching fast, what better way to get our kids educated on the relevance of what our ADF Members are actually doing!!

09.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to Toronto Public for being the first school to host a Red Friday!! Thank you to Bev Lowrie for your tenacity in co-ordinating the day, you have all done such a truely AMAZING job!! Well done everyone!!!! :)

02.01.2022 Today we remember, Private Gregory Michael Sher for his service and his sacrifice. Private Sher was KIA in Uruzgan Province on the 4th January 2009. May he Rest In Peace. LEST WE FORGET @--;----

01.01.2022 Another request from the beautiful Miss Amber!! If anyone can help, I know she sure would appreciate it!! from Amber Martin: "Ok you guys, I have another request for your help! I am working on yet, another project that is around helping boost morale in the troops. I have been out too long and wondered what sayings or motto's you guys have in the Army these days. This also includes symbols) Back in my day (yes ...sounding like a grandma now!!) we had things like GIFT and "Like... this, do that" etc.... times have changed and I am keen to learn some of the new sayings to go with some really cool artwork that may end up on a t'shirt or patch. Please feel free to list below and if you want to remain annon, thats ok, just message me instead! Get your thinking caps on and yes, this only applies to Australian Defence Force personell! Unless you are a wife, defacto, partner of a Defence member. Thanks! ;)" See more
