21.01.2022 Today we held auditions for two of the key roles in our latest short film Abigail: Zombie Hunter. Absolutely blown away by the depth of talent here in Canberra. We now have the very difficult task of selecting our cast.

15.01.2022 **All roles have now been filled and extras notified. Thank you to everyone who got in contact** Extras needed for ACTION bus scene tomorrow morning (Thursday 10/10/19)- unpaid. Red Gadget Films is looking for a couple of extras to play bus commuters tomorrow morning from 10am to 11.30am. The bus will depart the Tuggeranong Bus Interchange at 10am and will return here at approximately 11.30am. 14.01.2022 Extras needed for 'Abigail: Zombie Hunter' on Saturday 19th October (unpaid). Red Gadget Films is looking for a number of male and female extras (aged 18 years and over) to play office workers for a scene to be filmed in the city this Saturday from 10:30am to 1:00pm. Some of the extras will also be needed for featured roles (no dialogue required). 11.01.2022 Day 2 of shooting our short film Abigail: Zombie Hunter. 3 actors, 6 extras, DOP, soundie, clapper loader, makeup artist and director. We had an hour and a half (might have pushed it to 2 hours) to shoot this scene on a moving bus. It really does pay to have the best cast and crew. 08.01.2022 **APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED** Actors required for short comedy film (paid) Red Gadget Films are looking for actors and extras to be part of our latest project, Abigail: Zombie Hunter. This is a quirky film with comedy, horror, drama and zombies. ... Please feel free to apply regardless of experience, shape, size or colour. We’re looking for REAL characters and want your uniqueness to shine through. The roles we are looking to fill are: ZOMBIE WOMAN (female 21- 40 years old) Zombie woman hasn’t fully turned yet and is only half zombified. She can still talk and is negotiating with Abigail for her life. GEORGE: (male 21-50 years old) George, Service Station Attendant sarcastic, practical joker and likes to stir the pot. DELIVERY GUY: (male 21-45 years old) The delivery guy is pretty chilled, listens to hip hop to try and seem cool and hip but he’s not. PETROL STATION CUSTOMER (female 18-30 years old) The petrol station customer is confident, unique/alternative and a little cynical about life. OLD PERSON (male or female 60+) Frail and ageing. Shoot dates: Sunday, 29th September - 3 actors will require zombie makeup on this day ... Saturday 26th October - up to half a dozen actors/extras will require zombie makeup on this day There will possibly be more dates that you'll be required. 02.01.2022 **Zombie guides wanted for film shoot** (unpaid) Red Gadget Films are looking for some helpers to gather large crowds of Zombies to our film set. The Zombies will be finishing the Canberra Zombie Walk in Garema Place (around 5pm) and we need some charismatic officials to wear hi-vis vests and guide them to Glebe Park where we'll be filming. We’ll then need the helpers to position the horde during filming to make our optimistic crane shot a reality.... It's going to be a huge undertaking with 100+ zombie extras involved in the shoot so we're reaching out for a bit of extra help. Did we mention there will be walkie talkies and megaphones!?!
