24.01.2022 The road names in this subdivision follow the theme of early settlers from the original Group Settlement No 57 campsite in the 1920's. The original location (1017) was in the same area as Lot 9000. The names were sourced from the Margaret River District Historical Society (MRDHS) website and confirmed by the President of the MRDHS. 10.01.2022 INTERESTING FACT! WA CHRISTMAS TREE - named after the early explorer Pieter Nuyts who almost found Australia, the WA Christmas Tree lights up the WA coastline a...round November and December each year. It makes a striking tree with its large golden spears of flowers. Interestingly, the plants are semi-parasitic and take a small portion of their nutrients from surrounding host plants (this does not damage the host plants). See more
09.01.2022 The roads have now been sealed and the subdivision is progressing well. There are only 3 blocks available (Lot 8, 19 and 22). The Contractors have completed most of the work and will be finished by the middle of January.... They are on a break from next Monday to the 5th January so you can go on the land during this time without any problem. Titles are expected by the end of Feb and settlements March/April 2015. If your contract is subject to a final finance approval within 3 months of the anticipated date of settlement, I strongly urge you to make application in January so that you have the approval in place by late January/early February. 01.01.2022 UPDATE: We thought you may like to know that the contractor has taken possession of the site and construction has started last week as per photo attached. The contract is due to be completed by the end of January.... During this period please do not enter the site whilst work is under way. The Contractor intends working Monday to Saturday and some Sundays. We have now sold 22 of the 26 lots and lot 9 is on hold. We expect all lots to be sold by the end of this year and settlements will take place in May/June 2015.
