17.01.2022 Day 57 Todays quilt was made about 2004 when I bought my first long arm machine I made this to practise my freehand skills than I gave it to Daisy the spoodle who was born in 2005 Its been washed lots and is well faded
17.01.2022 Day 48 Well we are kinda near the end of this journey I am hoping to make it to the end of June so will be dragging out really old and tattered ones and probably some dog quilts too This one has the is called Green opposites quilt ... A tag pinned to the back and no date but I am guessing sometime after 2004 as thats when I bought the long arm machine And notice the temperature as I was hanging this one See more
17.01.2022 Day 69 Today’s quilt isn’t a quilt but 3 jellyroll mats All made from 100% patchwork cotton and also cotton batting inside They are all for sale for $150 each And to all the lovely ladies that did my class in this a year ago will tell you they are worth every cent
15.01.2022 Day 70 Well it all had to end somewhere so this is the last quilt This is a challenge quilt and called a 6 plus 4 6 people each supply 10 fabrics at 6.5 inches So you end up with 60 squares and than you are allowed to add up to 4 extra fabrics to make any size quilt you like... At this stage I have only 2 extra fabrics This is this years challenge at Alexandra quilters Thankyou to everyone that has liked and commented on my quilts So the biggest thing I have learned from this is to label your quilts The funny thing is I always tell people this but dont do enough of it my self Bye for now See more
14.01.2022 Day 59 Todays quilt is another unfinished one The stitchery was done maybe early 2000s and hexies later on The stitchery name was Polly put the kettle on so I changed it This was a challenge to hang this one

12.01.2022 Day 58 This block in this small quilt is called 7 sisters I later on went on to make a large quilt with this design for my eldest daughters (Nicole Ainger) for I think her 16 th birthday She is now 38 so a little while ago Check out the machine quilting on this one Its truely horrible

05.01.2022 Day 47 Todays quilt is called Spring Delight 2012 This quilt was hand appliqud by Alice Neill Proudfoot Alice Proudfoot and than I quilted it and she than gave me the quilt What a beautiful friend I have The quilting is all freehand on my long arm machine and it was on my machine for a month... 16 years ago Alice was my second ever customer to bring me her quilt and still does We have won several awards for quilts we have worked on over the years She does some amazing work Thankyou Alice See more

01.01.2022 Day 52 Todays quilt has been around the block It was a friendship heart block made back in the late 90 s This is used for on the back seat of the car or to wrap furniture when moving so has been a bit abused over its lifetime And look how crookedly it hangs
