07.01.2022 Peter Senior is one of the Legend players that will be playing in the Shepparton BMW Victorian Senior PGA Championship at the end of the month. Senior turned pr...ofessional in 1978 and joined the PGA Tour of Australia, now the PGA Tour of Australasia. During his career, he has won 19 tournaments on the tour, including the Australian PGA Championship in 1989, 2003 and 2010, the Australian Open in 1989 and 2012, and the Australian Masters in 1991, 1995 and 2015. Senior has won professional events on the main mens tour in five separate decades, a feat achieved by very few players previously anywhere in the world. He also has the distinction of winning the Australian PGA, Open and Masters tournaments after he turned 50. He also topped the tours Order of Merit in 1987, 1989 and 1993. Even after reaching the age of fifty, he remains competitive on the tour. See more

06.01.2022 These are trying times for everyone, and especially difficult for our health care workers, and also those who are isolated from friends and family. As r...ural Victoria returns to Stage 3 restrictions and Melbournians face tough curfews and closures, we are thinking of you all, and just hoping you all stay safe and healthy. It is more important than ever to support each other, and check in on our communities. We really miss not hosting guests in our (Victorian) holiday houses, so if everyone does the right thing to stop the spread, mid September will be here before we know it. When the time is right, and you are planning a trip away with friends and family, we will be here, in sunny Yarrawonga, waiting for you! 01.01.2022 OMG - what an awesome course!! I absolutely loved this course design (loved it so much we played 45 holes in 3 days and walked!) I took so many photos on course, yes even when it was my putt! This little road trip reminded me how beautiful the Murray River is, and it really inspired me to work on some more golf packages incorporating Murray Downs Golf and Country Club (Murray Downs) I am in my element driving for, and hosting golf groups, so hoping I get to return to Murra...y Downs again soon !!
