23.01.2022 We had a difficult situation occur today, and I think it is important that we talk about it. A customer came in and requested cold and flu medication, and as per our protocol the staff member advised him to get a covid test. He said its ok - Ive had one and the staff member then asked when he got the results back. His answer - I havent had the results back yet.... Now this is not ok. It is really important to stay at home until you have had a negative result come back. There are lots of ways we can help you access medication while you are in isolation. We will deliver 7 days a week, all pharmacy products, not just prescriptions. You can have a Telehealth consult with your GP and they can send the script to us, and we will deliver it. I know a lot of people might be feeling a little worried that Redland Bay has been identified as an area visited by someone who later tested positive to covid-19. Thats understandable. If you were at the Cyclones vs Logan Saints game on Friday 21st at the Southern Bay Cyclones, you need to monitor your health and get tested, even if you have very mild symptoms. It is really important that we all follow the guidance provided by Queensland Health. Please call us on 32067770 if you have any questions. The safety of my staff and customers is very important to me. You may be asked to wear a mask in store. You will be asked to wait outside. Things may take a little longer to do than we are used to. 06.01.2022 Feel Good Friday moment We keep saying Redland Bay is an amazing place full of wonderful people, and we are constantly grateful for everyones support Yesterday we had a call from a long term customer who isnt particularly well, to arrange a delivery, and he mentioned to the staff member that he wanted to help out those who are doing it tough. When we dropped off his delivery he gave us an envelope and said he wants us to use it to help those who cant afford to get t...heir meds delivered at the moment We want to thank this wonderful man (who we wont name because he would hate that ) for this lovely gesture- we promise to use it to look after those that need a little extra help at the moment.
