Sign up for Council’s emergency notification messaging to receive: Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) weather warning emails Flooding updates for four key local roads via text and/or email... Council emergency texts and/or emails. How to sign up: 1) Go to disaster.redland.qld.gov.au 2) Click on the blue ‘Opt-In Notifications’ button 3) Click on the ‘Register’ tab to enter your details and create a password 4) Follow confirmation email instructions to complete the mobile verification process and select your subscription choices. Your details are securely held and will not be shared for other purposes. This notification service is designed to complement not replace other emergency notification systems such as those offered by Bureau of Meteorology and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services - QFES.

The likes of Obnoxious Onion, Awful Apple, Putrid Pear and his food scrap gang have been increasingly getting into household recycling bins. This reduces our efforts to make the most of the 12,000 tonnes of recyclable waste collected each year on Redlands Coast. Food scraps don't belong in the yellow-lid recycling bin. If you are not minimising your food waste or composting at home they need to go in your red-lid bin only Yep that's right they can't go in your green waste bin either if you have one. 18.01.2022 This Remembrance Day you may notice a new resident in Anzac Centenary Park. Our amazing Parks staff have just completed the transplant of a mature seedling brought from the original Lone Pine at Gallipoli. They worked hard to match the soil ph profile of the Gallipoli Peninsula, and have prepared a special nutrition plan to give this notoriously tricky tree a great chance of survival ... The team hopes it will provide a place of reflection for generations to come. A big thank you to the Parks team for being so dedicated to getting such important work done!
