24.01.2022 A note to the riders competing tomorrow in the City Challenge at Nerang. A similar Event Plan is in place as we have raced before. There is a limit on the numbe...r of people inside the Event Bubble, this will be controlled by the allocation of sequenced wrist bands. As per the Queensland Government Guidelines in on a per head basis regardless of age. Please do not try to dodge the check-in process, contact tracing is an important part of keeping the community safe. Our COVID Captains will be happy to assist you through the check in process. Registration will be contactless and rider's will be checked in using there transponder data from the practice sessions. There will also be a transponder checking station located outside the scoring area. All riders with a transponder need to check their transponder prior to racing. If any of the details aren't correct when you check your transponder, it is important to let us know in scoring. The Sprockets & Mini Wheelers - the checkin team will have a rider's list and you can check your registration as part of the checkin. 06.01.2022 Happy September school holidays! This week sees some of our amazing riders take part in the BMX Queensland State Titles right here in our backyard at the Sleemans SX Track at Chandler. We are so excited and wish each and every rider the best of luck. Family and friends can watch the event via Livestream (details will be available on the BMX Queensland Facebook page). Over these holidays we will have no Gates Practice or Racing as our volunteers are spending some much needed... time with their families. We will recommence Week 1 of Term 4. Shaun is the only coach still going ahead during the holidays as Ben is taking the holidays off. Bruce has already contacted his crew. If you are unsure of what your coach is doing or times, please contact them directly. Have a safe, happy and fun filled holidays!

06.01.2022 We have some AMAZING NEWS! Tonight before racing we will have a family-friendly Pop-Up Concert all thanks to Brisbane Festival as part of Street Serenades. Brisbane Festival is proudly presenting The Ancient Bloods who was a Triple Js Unearthed Band in 2018. This is a COVID Safe Event. Tonights schedule will run as follows:... BMX Car park strictly closed until 6:45pm 6pm Concert entry opens 6:10pm - 6:30pm The Ancient Bloods 6:45pm - 7:15: Noms Open and Practice 7:30 pm WE GO RACING The CONCERT has a capacity of 250 persons however post-concert, we will drop to our CLUB 100 persons maximum. Due to the concert, we will open up the car park gate for BMX when Brisbane Festival has left the car park at approx: 6:45pm. We ask that you treat Brisbane Festival hosts with kindness and follow their directions as they require space to leave the premises due to the size of their trailer. Our canteen will be open for hot food and drinks during the concert and racing. If you can help volunteer (and have a Blue Card), please let us know. So, come early and have some track side fun!
